Stag City (Xinjiang Restaurant)
“One of the best Xinjiang restaurant I have ever been! The big plate chicken with handmade noodles is the best. The skewers are also very tender and full of flavour. Definitely recommend!”
Jericho Middle Eastern Cuisine & Cafe
“Absolutely love this place, I go there on my lunch breaks at least 3 times a week specifically for their lamb shawarma! They’ve got the best lamb shawarma I’ve had and the guys that work there are very kind and respectful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 10/10, highly recommend”
Grill Cartel - Halal - Premium food - Burgers - Chicken - Turkish Fusion - Middle Eastern Fusion
“We have ordered from here many occasions and this place just impresses me every time. Their packaging is such high quality and their flavours are amazing! I’ve never had food ordered in be as tasty as grill cartel. Always cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients and worth every penny!”
L'Oriental Restaurant
“Typical libanese's delicious food and smiling staf. All good.”
Ya Hela Restaurant
“I've never tried Iraqi food before but Ya Hela has introduced me to how wonderful it is. I say wonderful because it was a true meat feast! Their most popular item, the lamb kofte kebab had a lovely outer crust yet absolutely broke apart when trying to pick it up. I finally found something more sensitive than vegans. This alone was great however they have speciality lamb dishes with 3x more meat. Now we talking. Lamb shank - Pure, served with rice, no sauces or spices as such. Just tender, beautiful meat falling off the bone and you'd never complain for wanting more even though it's hella simple. Lamb neck - now this I could relate to a desi dish because it was another massive chunk of lamb but sat on top of a bed of broken up naan which has soaked up spices. Wow, this was almost like when I have Nihari, naan soaked up except this meat is on another level! Arabic Shwarma was pretty good though just needed more sauce inside but they have sauces provided anyway so that was fine. The chicken wings were a little dry for my liking. Service and atmosphere were fantastic, it was pretty busy and loved seeing massive pieces of lamb being eaten up. Very much liked this spot guys, try those lamb dishes and kebabs and you will not be disappointed! Taste: 9, Quality: 9, Value: 9”

“Went to Mezzet Dar for dinner. The food was amazing had tapas and I was impressed with the sizes you get more than enough for the price you pay, the fish was fresh and delicious as well as the prawns which were my favourite the lamb was also very good. W e tried several plates/tapas and all were well presented and taste divine. The staff was extremely helpful and kind especially Jonás the Manager who helped and advise with the dishes choices, he is always smiling and very pleasant will definitely come back and 100% recommend it !”
Sufi Restaurant
“We had dinner here last night, and it was really good! The place is away from the crowded area and it’s cozy and very comfortable. Feels like home! The staff was very nice and friendly! The food was delicious and the bread was freshly made and it tasted really good. I really recommend this place! Congratulations to the restaurant owners for having such an amazing restaurant!”
Nawroz Restaurant
“This is hands down the best Kurdish / Kebab place on Green Lanes. Don’t be fooled by the glitzy mega kebab restaurants down the Main Street. This is the only place worth visiting on Green Lanes. They make their own tandoori bread, and once seated you are greeted with pickles and lovely warm soup. The kebabs are expertly seasoned and served without fuss - but with tons of intense charcoal grilled flavour.”
Hala Restaurant
“We really enjoyed our meal this evening. The service by Mohammad was absolutely outstanding. He was really professional, well done to him. By the way we ordered Salmon main course which was really delicious with potatoes. Lovely food. Will definitely come back again to Hala.”
Sumak Restaurant
“Consistently good service and food. Just visited Sumak again for early Sunday dinner and was pleased to see that the quality of food and level of service was consistently great. From the greeting as you enter the door to the thank you and good bye as you leave you cannot fault this team. The staff are all very attentive, professional and pleasant. The food was as fresh and tasty as always. I highly recommend visiting Sumak if you want want an all round great dining experience. You will not be disappointed.”

Our favourites were the roasted cauliflower and the kadayif dessert that came with a cheesecake cream.”

CERU Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant Queensway
“Went here with my girlfriend. It’s a tapas place, so expect small portions. The food was really really good. I was mostly surprised by the Jerome’s desert, so definitely get it. For food, we got the 3 dips dish and 3 other dishes, and that was enough for us. If you like Middle Eastern food, I’d recommend it.”
Dijla Restaurant
“Really authentic, delicious food. The hot coals make a real difference to the flavour (I ordered the lamb kofte) and the seasonings are really good. Fairly priced, and you get free tahini, hummus and tzatziki”

“First time trying Somali food - it was absolutely delicious! The rice was beautifully fragrant, and the spice and banana complemented each other very well. They also serve breakfast food (flat-bread), again, delicious. The staff are also very kind :) Note that it is cash-only.”

“Ordered the mixed kebab for my husband and I to here and sat inside. They give free houmous and tatziki with olives when you eat inside at the back of the restaurant. The portions were huge we couldn't finish it and really tasty then they gave us free baklava. The young girl serving us was amazing and so friendly”

“We were greeted by the lovely owner who suggested that we try the vegan platter. It was a perfect combination of healthy and great tasting food. I will definitely visit again!”
Lebnani Restaurant
“Very busy restaurant and small , £5 per person to book ahead, which I recommend if you wish to visit. Amazing food , I had a mixed grill with lots of flavour. Very friendly and helpful staff. All beers are bottled.”
Handi Roti Halal Restaurant
“These guys catered for my daughter's 2nd birthday & smashed it with the catering. Guests repeatedly came to us to compliment the food. Hardly any food was left. Firm hits of the night were Lollipop chicken, veg noodles, veg manchurian, chicken tikka & the green chutney. They certainly have gained customers for life now & we can't wait to order from them again”
Baity Restaurant
“Delicious healthy colourful food nicely presented with delicious flavours, nicely marinaded, juicy meat well cooked and not dry, nice juice.”
