I'm pleased to say that London Wing Chun Academy is one of the best places I ever trained. Great instructors, really observant, supportive and knowledgeable. The type of training really works got me, because it includes plenty of practical application, and a good amount of pad work. It's a really welcoming place to train too, a good spirit amongst those that train there. Finally, it's a well-equipped centre with plenty of bags, wooden dummies, and a weights section. “I'd always wanted to try fencing and for my birthday my husband booked me a private lesson! I really didn't know what to expect and was a little nervous but I really shouldn't have been! It was so much fun! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and my teacher was brilliant. He explained everything very clearly and made you relax into it instantly. After he had taught me some of the basics I was able to try against an experienced pupil which was great fun!
