Steak & Lobster Marble Arch
“I went to this restaurant for dinner on Friday night with my sister. We ended up at the wrong one but the waiter went out of his way to call the restaurant to let them know we made a mistake so we wasn’t charged the cancellation/no show fee. He was very polite and recommended us on the steak roll starter which were perfect and also recommended us the rum punch. Stephan’s hospitality skills is top notch and he took time out to speak to us.. he really made our experience enjoyable and we will definitely be returning because of him. He is definitely an asset to the restaurant. Thank you Stephan, keep doing what you are doing x”
Spaghetti House Italian Restaurant Marble Arch
“Wow Love place and great food The only challenge is that the employees are from different nationalities and sometimes it is difficult to understand the clients. The food is good enough and the price will be lower since it is very expensive”
The Grill at Amba Hotel Marble Arch
“Our 2nd visit for afternoon tea with bubbly and we were not disappointed! Good quality drink and food. Friendly good services. Recommended. (Waiting time was a bit long as there were many tables came in at about the same time.)”
Marble Arch Inn
“For an inexpensive hotel it is perfect. It is super clean albeit the rooms and bathrooms are small. We stayed in the family room which had plenty of beds. It fit my family of four just fine with a wee bit of room for a friend. They did not have air condition but the fan worked excellent despite it being a warm day. Location is perfect, neighborhood is safe and it's not far from public transportation. Plus the desk receptionist was keeping a keen eye to make sure who was there is suppose to be. I will be returning for sure. It's all we need for a great stay. My only advice for visitors is bring your own soap and shampoo. Beyond that all is excellent with a very fair price.”
TOKii
“Japanese Afternoon Tea. Really lovely selection of savory & sweet. 12 different teas to choose, with endless refills. 4 different sakes served with food. Service was discrete and helpful. An expensive treat, and well recommended”
Coconut Tree
“Huge portion size and great value for money. Food came out very quick. We had the nasi goreng which had a nice spice kick but was not spicy. We had allergens and they accommodated, no problems. Only issue is that the menu is on the counter so you can't walk past it and see if you fancy the food or not; you actually have to approach the counter and stare down at the menu to see all the options, which is not easy as menu is huge, probably has most options compared to the other establishments in Bang Bang. Would definitely come back again though as food was delicious.”
Mitre House Hotel
“My daughter was I’ll in hospital and I needed to find a room asap. This hotel was so well placed for St Mary’s Paddington it was literally 5 mins walk. The staff were so lovely and helpful at an extremely traumatic time I was so grateful. I was able to park my car there and I could pop back and forth and have rest in between visits. The room was comfortable and lovely and clean. The breakfast was well cooked and enjoyed by all the guest ( although I would have loved a yougurt which is my problem not there’s ) Thankyou to all the staff fantastic stay . Definitely come back hopefully in better circumstances.”
Sofra St Christopher’s Place
“Been here a few times with my bf and we both love it here, best Turkish restaurant I have been to in London, I don't understand the negative reviews, I guess people here don't know good food. One of our favourite drinks here is the homemade lemonade, but unfortunately on our last visit they had changed the recipe for the lemonade and it wasny great, was bitter so we had it exchanged for fresh apple juice and orange juice and it was lovely, but the food was still great like usual. Also accommodating gluten intolerant people, they have great variety on the menu. Definitely recommend this place.”
St. David's Hotels
“This place was very close to Paddington Station. I slept well in the bed and the place was very affordable. It was a little warm in our room, but I'd just got back from Iceland, so there's a chance that was on me. All and all, I'd recommend this if you're spending time in London.”
xi home, dumplings and buns
