MamaMei Chinese Restaurant
● Closed“Really glad to find this restaurant has opened up locally. Dishes are such a reasonable price that I plan to come here again and often. We had pork and prawn wonton noodle soup, beef brisket noodle soup and the Beijing pork dumplings. The beef brisket noodle soup was the standout dish…the meat was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth.”

Bund Restaurant and Takeaway
● Closed“My husband and I had the most delicious Chinese meal here last night. The food is super fresh without MSG, and we left feeling nicely full but not sick- who would have thought possible for a Chinese meal? The staff are delightful and the owner is a gem. A must to try. Slightly expensive but you feel that you are paying for the higher quality food (compared to most local Chinese restaurants).”

My Neighbours the Dumplings - Clapton
● Closed“Always wanted to visit due to great reviews and name! Can’t believe it took so long! The food is amazing! Great selection, and really good combinations! Next time to order all the dumplings though! Might be the best I had so far! Flavour, stuffing, dough, was all just perfect!”

The Sichuan Restaurant
● Closed“Some of the best Chinese food I've had. Much better and more flavorful than the Cantonese offerings I usually get as a takeaway. I had some spicy smoked ribs with a good offering of spiced veg and peppers, as well as some battered chicken with red onion. The menu has some interesting selections, and if I wasn't in a bit of a rush I'd have loved to have tried some of the more adventurous options! Good atmosphere, incredible menu, reasonably priced, and great portions. I went in and ordered to take out and the food presentation was incredible.”

蜀一蜀二 Shu La La
● Closed“The best Chinese style barbecue in London!! It reminds me the taste of my hometown’s restaurants. Even better than some restaurants in China. The fish balls and fish tofu are really nice! Also love the chicken feet but it’s really really spicy. Definitely will come again to try other foods!”

Mayling Chinese
● Closed“I've been eating at Mayling for a few years now, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The Black Bean Curry is my personal favourite. Priced at £7.20 (fantastic), you can add a variety of vegetables for just a few extra quid to have the complete meal. Healthy dinner, good service and reasonable cost. Just make sure you can handle a bit of spice if you go for the Black Bean Curry!”

Sichuan Restaurant and Karaoke Bar
● Closed“We had a lovely meal the mains were the highlight, we shared a generous portion of sizzling black bean chicken, chicken curry, beef chow mein and egg fried rice all were cooked well! The sharing starter was ok the ribs were deep fried which made them very tough, only a couple of wings, but again it was 12 pound very good value. Only downside was a waiter getting our order wrong and we had to send back but they recooked all food on mains and it was lovely. We will visit again!”

Jinli
● Closed“Ordered a grilled fish in chili oil and the dry hotpot for 7 people on a Friday night. The restaurant was almost full but thankfully we got a table. The food was nice! The grilled fish is crispy and more like fried than grilled but it tasted good. We ordered beef, dried tofu skin, mushroom & veggies for the dried hotpot and it was tasty too! Loved it.”

Sanxia Renjia Fitzrovia - Chinese Restaurant & Karaoke
● Closed“The pork liver is delicious and so does the stir-fired pinch. The spicy fish is not bad as well. There is a KTV on -1 floor and would be free for 5 hours if the the dinner cost more than £350.”

Taste of China
● Closed“My opinion might be biased as I always order the same thing. Their chicken chow mein is undefeated, always get it with extra extra green chillis and it is always amazing. Their sweet and sour chicken, hot and sour soup and prawn toast are also very good. Really recommend this place for the above items mentioned as they are what I normally”
