Peninsula Wembley(Malaysian Street Food)
● Closed18 Olympic Way, Wembley Park, London, Wembley HA9 0JT, United Kingdom“Found this gem just by a chance last Monday. Was not really hungry so we thought just order 2 dishes and 3 of us could share but when they said their roti canai were freshly made not the frozen ones, we gave in. We ordered banana leaves w mutton, nasi lemak beef rendang & roti canai w chicken curry. OMG the mutton curry was out of this world! Just like mom’s cooking! And a big shoutout to the beef rendang! Hit all the spots. We can taste the TLC in that beef rendang! Feel like raya ok! Enough said. Roti + chicken curry didnt disappoint as well. We were happy campers! Keep up the good work guys. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re London! Or a branch in Birmingham perhaps? We totally had our epic ‘Le Festin’ moments that day. Thanks for the such lovely food!”

Longhouse Malaysian Fusion
● Closed17 Riverhead Mews, Riverhead, Sevenoaks TN13 2BU, United Kingdom“Went here on a Thursday for a sisters night out. Got to say, was definitely not disappointed with this little gem! The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Very polite and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere with nice decor. Food was amazing; we had salt and pepper chicken and squid (highly recommend) with noodles, rice, two chicken dishes and duck with pancakes etc. A little more pircey than the typical Asian cuisine but definitely worth it considering the quality. Was not greasy whatsoever, just very tasteful and unique. They also let you take home anything that you don't finish, which is an added bonus. Will 100% come back for another meal and I look forward to it! Thank you so much for a great evening!”

Med Salleh Kopitiam
● Open“By far the best and most authentic Malaysian food I have tasted in the UK! A Malaysian myself, being away from home I often find it quite difficult to satisfy the cravings of food from home. However, the food I had at Med Salleh really hit the spot and also impressed my mum, who cooks good Malaysian food herself! As well as satisfying my own cravings, I love sharing Malaysian food with my friends who have never been to Malaysia, or who are curious about the cuisine. Findings authentic Malaysian flavours in the UK hasn't been easy. Numerous times I found myself sat across friends in other Malaysian restaurants saying "I promise its 100% better in Malaysia" as they excitedly tried the food. Now, having tasted the food at Med Salleh I'd be happy to bring my friends here to eat and tell them that this is what Malaysian food tastes like. Not only is the food authentic but the hospitality of the staff and Med Salleh himself made our dinning experience one to remember. I would highly recommend dinning here to anyone missing Malaysian food, and even more-so to those who want to taste authentic Malaysian food without having to pay for a £1,000 flight there! If you're unsure of what to order, in my opinion you can't go wrong with the Hainanese Chicken Rice or the Char Kuey Teow.”

Kai Mayfair
● Open“Our group of 6 enjoyed an exquisite afternoon tea experience at Kai Mayfair. The restaurant was very indepth decorated in exotic forest theme, paired with a table full of trinkets, birds and cute menus. We ordered the standard afternoon tea set. Staff were lovely and attentive, food was fun and delicious. We did not necessarily enjoy every single item, but among the highlights included the steamed egg and the veggie one. We requested extra for our fave, and they were happy to indulge us. The amount was plentiful and we were content. Would recommend.”
-
Pot and Rice
● Closed“One of the best places for Korean/Chinese style rice bowls in Elephant and Castle! The Taiwanese fried chicken starter (Pictured) is also juicy and really well seasoned. I always have the Chinese salami (pictured) rice bowl and it never fails. On the other hand, my partner had the pork and bamboo which had a quite strong fish sauce flavor but was still nicely smoky and well cooked. The portions are very large so come with an empty stomach. Still, I do believe they could lower the prices, 9 pounds for a starter and 14 for a main that is mostly rice, is a bit much.”
