"CHECK THE PRICES BEFORE YOU PAY Haven't been to the fish & chips shop for ages as I had moved away but recently returned and my ĺast experience was good but not on this occasion. My negative review is due the counter lady trying to charge me more than the display board prices - in my view overcharging! I ordered my meal, waited for it to be cooked and then she tried to charge me more than the prices displayed. She informed me they had a price rise (pointing at a small typed note on the sneeze screen) and therefore the prices on the big display board and leaflets on the counter were wrong. I asked why the display prices had not been changed or at least the prices covered up to reduce the potential for confusion? No response! I asked for the manager - told he was Jason but not on duty, Asked for his surname - employee didn't know it - very strange. With other fish & chip shops locally - will not be returning due to their attitude for displaying incorrect prices."
