“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. Don't miss London's only and BEST Haitian Restaurant!”

“I took two friends visiting London for lunch and we loved it! The food is super authentic, and the waitress who served us was not only nice but also very funny! “Have been to Scarpetta a number of times and it does not disappoint. Seating is limited so would recommend booking. Tried a new starter for a change (mussels) which were nice but a little dry. I had the prawn pasta for main which I cant fault- tasted very fresh and was a good sized portion. I will definitely be returning”

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“I’ve come to Rox’s countless amounts of times, not once have I been let down. The customer service here is beyond amazing, they really are all so lovely. The BBQ ribs are honestly the most tender and flavoursome ribs I have ever had, they never get it wrong. All the lambs and chicken are so filling with the generous portions and the drinks are incredible. I’ve tried majority of the menu and it’s all so incredible. I would highly recommend, always book a table because they’re always so busy and rightly so.”

“I had a birthday lunch for 14 people and could not recommend the Hillgate more. The staff were incredibly friendly and made everything very smooth and they were very personable too. The food was delicious, with eveyones drinks well topped up. The atmosphere of the pub is perfect - a throng of people and a gentle buzz but not too loud. Thank you for a wonderful birthday lunch. “My son recently had his birthday party held here. The food was amazing along with the staff. The staff were very friendly and everyone could tell the food was made with care. The venue downstairs happened to be the best part. It was filled with a DJ booth and a bar a selection of drinks to choose from.The owner set most of the party up and respected all of us.
