The Sushi Co - Kensington
● Closed“I just happened to come across “The Sushi Co” while going somewhere else. The staff were incredibly nice and detail-oriented. I had a Salmon Orange box and a Miso soup and it was A-ok. Listen, it’s not glamorous, high-end, sushi, but if you manage those expectations, it’s a good, nice, quick place to grab a bite to eat.”

London Air Services
● Open“I had a great experience with London Air Services. The team was very professional, arrived on time, and did an amazing job cleaning my sofa. They were able to remove stains that I thought were permanent, and my sofa looks brand new. I appreciate their eco-friendly cleaning products and would definitely recommend their services.”

Kampai Kensington
● Closed“Everything was impeccable at Kampai. I came with a large party and we ordered so many different items off of the menu and absolutely everything was delicious . I really have to recommend the yum salmon and spicy gesos but I have to say everything was great. Normally I much prefer nigiri over sashimi but the fish quality is to a high standard and all the sashimi and sushi is delicious . The taro ice cream dessert is a must try too. Service was fast and staff were friendly , I would definitely recommend .”

Publiq. South Kensington
● Closed“Superb meal tonight at Publiq. Our waiter, Greg, was clearly run off his feet as they were short-staffed, however he was charming, knowledgeable and super efficient. What a gem he is. The food was perfectly balanced and executed. Small dishes of fresh, flavoursome, and well-cooked food with a low-waste farm-to-table ethic. Some really nice flavour combinations and something for everyone. Very pleased to have found this busy little restaurant and will definitely return.”
-
Dishoom Kensington
● Open“One of their nicest locations - very kind and helpful staff and great food. Came over on Friday night and managed to get a table for 4! The food was really nice, as usual and the staff was really helpful and nice. The decor in this place is just spectacular and really makes it an upscaled venue. You can even catch jazz performances on Some evenings!”
-
Alexandrie Restaurant

-
Eli’s Restaurant - South Kensington
● Closed“Gorgeous small local restaurant, delicious hearty food and friendly and professional staff (I think they were a family). Thank you for accommodating us (family of 3 including a 2 yo) on a Saturday night and despite not having booked a table in advance! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with you. My top fave dish was the chicken liver with freshly baked pita bread. Wine choices were also fab.”

Baba Ghanouj Kensington
● Open“I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Lebanese restaurant, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was charming and authentically Lebanese, with beautiful murals adorning the walls. As I settled in, I noticed the music playing softly in the background. It was the perfect blend of traditional Middle Eastern tunes and modern pop songs, creating a lively yet relaxing ambiance that perfectly complemented the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. But of course, the highlight of any dining experience is the food, and this Lebanese restaurant did not disappoint. Every dish was bursting with flavor, from the classic hummus and tabbouleh to the more unique dishes like shakshuka and kibbeh. Each plate was beautifully presented, and I could tell that the chef had put a lot of care and attention into each and every dish. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like a valued customer. Throughout the meal, the servers were attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure that everything was to my liking. All in all, I would highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.”

The first floor is a restaurant and bar. And the basement level is an exhibition space and micro library. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

CERU Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant South Kensington
● Closed“Tapas style Middle Eastern restaurant. Book your table in advance as its a small restaurant. The food has great flavours. The lamb is my favourite dish. The scallops are also very delicious. Don’t forget to order hummus and pita bread. The chocolate and tahini mousse is good and comes in a very cute little mug. It’s a good place for family and small groups. Very friendly staff and quick service.”
-
Meekhun Thai Bistro (Kensington)
● Closed“Got the shrimp rolls and vegetarian cashew nut plate. Both were fantastic. Iced tea was great too. Lady taking the order was so polite. I wish I had remembered to make the food spicy. It was super mild!”
-
Maria G's Kensington
● Closed2-4 Warwick Lane, London W14 8FN, United Kingdom“Very attractive upmarket venue. We had the arancini, focaccia, chicken Milanese, cacio e pepe and the lamb shoulder. The focaccia was very good. It came with a delicious dip. The arancini, although very tasty, they were quite small. The lamb shoulder was a 5 out of 5, not sure about the cold salsa verde! The dish that was served in was more of a pasta bowl and not quite a good match in my opinion. Desert, tiramisu and orange sorbetto was very good.”
-
Macellaio RC South Kensington
● Closed“What a nice little butcher/restaurant. You pick your meat size depending on how hungry you are. You can have. 200gr steak or a hefty 900gr with bone. The service is friendly and helpful. The meat apparently comes from Italy. The menu is really nice with the sides and desserts as well. If you are looking to have great meat in a nice atmosphere and if you are aroumd, do not miss it. Make sure you have a reservation though, if you want to make sure you have a seat, it is usually busy.”
-

Pizza Roma Kensington
● Closed“As someone who works in London, I nearly dismissed this place as a “tourist trap” judging from the outside when passing by. In reality, really good quality food, great value especially in 2022’s price environment, my pizza was loaded with fresh toppings and was delicious. Will be popping in any time I’m in the area.”

-
Akub Restaurant
● Closed“As a Palestinian, I was very happy to see a place like Akub open in London. This quaint & cozy space serves innovative twists on traditional Palestinian cooking. Dishes like the Short Rib Fatteh, Bukjet Mousakhan & Shish Barak with Beetroot are delicious & pleasantly light. The dessert, especially the dead sea salt chocolate cake, is out of this world! Akub also serves Palestinian arak, wine & beer, so you get to enjoy a Taybeh or 2 with your meal ;) The decor is on point too - tasteful cultural symbols minus the clichés (no flags or rifles, though of course the spirit is that of Free Palestine).”
-
Hotel Indigo London - Kensington, an IHG Hotel
● Open“This hotel was perfect for us. We really liked being right at Earl's Court. Very convenient to jump on the tube and get to anywhere we needed to go. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Victoria was awesome at helping us get our room situated (first one the tv didn't work), second one the tub drain didn't work. But you're going to have these types of issues in an older hotel. Victoria kept at it until she got us accommodated like we wanted. Thank you! But we would def stay here again. Loved the breakfast, staff were absolutely fabulous. Alicia, Hannah, Maria and Sharven were so happy to serve you every morning. They did a great job! Can't wait to come back.”
-
Spaghetti House Italian Restaurant Kensington High Street
● Closed“I went here for my friends birthday as a group of 15 and we had an amazing time. The restaurant is absolutely lovely, and super cozy yet still spacious enough for big groups. The food was lovely and none of us had any complaints about it. I ordered the pasta arrabiata and loved it. They gave the birthday girls cake which was also delicious. Our waitress was amazing and so kind, she split the bill between 15 and was so organised while doing so, even though im sure it was a bit of a hassle. In terms of the price, the pasta and main dishes are worth it because the portions are quite big, however the caeser salad my friend got was very expensive for a salad. Overall i highly recommend this restaurant :)) Ps. The bathroom is also really cute for taking photos”
