“This place bets their all on the food and it definitely pays off. The food is simply of a tier that is rare to find in London; compared to other high-end Japanese places, the quality and complexity of Takahashi’s dishes really shows. We ordered the omakase and all the dishes were very thoughtful and elegantly showcased the Japanese style. Sushi in particular was as good as you get in Japan. Also very competitive in terms of value. Decor and service is simple and a complement to the cuisine - no need for over-the-top extras here.”

“Really delicious food. I ordered on deliveries and wish it had stated what condiments came with it. I chose this place because the photos looked like it would be delivered without plastic. Wasabi/ginger came with the sushi and was put on the cardboard box without plastic but I ordered extra as I didn't know if it came with it and sadly these bits came in plastic. However, they clearly care and are doing an amazing job at reducing plastic. The food was mega!”
