Kinjo - Japanese Restaurant, Bar & Grill
● Closed“Had a lovely lunchtime ramen as saw this place just opened up. Looks lovely inside. Very relaxed and chilled vibe. Staff are very attentive and fast service. I had a tonkotsu ramen. I've eaten a lot of ramens and this was really good. Very tasty and fresh. I did have a lot of ginger in mine which is fine because I like it but may be too much for others. Will be back”

Hoshi Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Editing review back to 5 star, after consistently delicious take away. I used to be a fan of Hashi, then the quality of food dropped. I haven’t ordered anything for over a year until recently, to be pleasantly surprised. I’ve now had a great experience 3 times in a row and can say Crunch and Hoshi maki are great again, Nasu Dengaku is the best grilled aubergine I’ve tried, salmon Tataki is delicious too. Everything tastes really fresh. Please keep it up!”
-
Midori Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Delicious Food. When I use to study nearby, Midori would be my absolute go to restaurant whenever I and my friends were feeling hungry. Service is amazing, wait time isn’t too long, and the food I always trust to fill me up. I always got the same bibimbap every time I went here, and I can say for certain it’s absolutely delicious.”

Asakusa London
● Closed“Made a reservation before coming here on a Thursday night after work and was happy that we did because 15 minutes after we sat down the restaurant was already half-filled! Last time I came here was 4 years ago and this time round I ordered the exact same dish - Kaisen don, and its safe to say that this place managed to keep it's high standard! I was very happy with the food as the sashimi was extremely fresh, came in a big portion with a layer of rice at the bottom. Thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and even though it's now £15 more expensive than 4 years ago I thought it was a nice treat since I don't come here often. Service was friendly, only downside was that the waiters didn't seem to be attentive enough as we had to wait and eventually ask them to come over and take our order. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience overall. The interior is very authentic, homely, Japanese style which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and I will for sure come back here soon to try other things on the menu!”

NALA Japanese Restaurant
● Open“Stumbled across Nala and what a great find for superb quality sushi. Small upstairs seating area but there is a downstairs as well. Friendly welcome and everything freshly prepared to order. Tried the Genmai tea and small hot sake to drink. To eat, I had the Takoyaki which was piping hot and melt in your mouth (no chewy octopus in sight) with spicy salmon, fatty tuna with spring onion and tried the snow crab and flying fish roe gunkan. Tons of flavour, perfect temperature of the rice and well balanced flavours. Can’t recommend enough for quality sushi that’s well priced. Happy Eating! Olly”

米 kome japanese sushi
● Open“I've only ordered off Uber Eats so far but the food is incredible. I've had two different bento boxes, the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki. Both were really great. Good value for money, tasty, and filling. The Japanese wings and bubble tea are pretty good too. I would recommend it to everyone. Going to keep trying things from here including the sushi.”

Tombo Japanese Cafe
● Open“Staffs are SUPER SUPER nice, food and drink were delicious, I can choose to add less sugar for the drink which is nice because I like less sweet beverage. The dessert are nice too because they weren't too sweet, it would be perfect for me if the dessert has a richer matcha flavour. I'll definitely go to this cafe again if come to London again in the future!”

Aburi Japanese Restaurant

The Japanese Canteen
● Open“Good food for reasonable price in the centre of city. Any chicken soup is good but I can highly recommend one with Sichuan pepper - chicken tantanmen noodle soup. On my image it is on the left. That is something very special really. And it is quite cheap here 8.5 £ or so. Overall place is just fine, clean.”

Fuji Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“I was looking for a good Japanese restaurant and I found this one while browsing on Uber eat. I got chicken katsu curry with no much expectation, but it turned out it was really delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the food was still piping hot when it arrived. I will definitely order from them again and hopefully other food will be as good as the katsu curry. Might also visit the restaurant in person just out of curiosity. Well done to the chefs. I definitely recommend it~”

-
Takumi London Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“I came to Takumi restaurant with friends recently and I have to say this restaurant is deinitely an upmarket version of an Izakaya in Japan, and although Izakayas are usually cheaper in Japan where you can order finger food such skewers, small bites and drink beer, you can definitely get the experience here as well as order mains but in a more classy atmosphere. The small dishes we ordered are really delicious, and the mains hit the spot not being too much or too little, and the sushi that we ordered last was full of flavour that I admit one of the pieces did taste like I was in Japan, and I have been to Japan a few times. Delicious food that is worth trying, maybe a little bit on the expensive side, but definitely enjoyed it.”
