Simply Indian
“The best indian food I ever have so far. Highly recommended!!! The place is small with 6-7 tables, but the food is really amazing. Definitely wanna come back.”
The Hungry Tummy Ltd.
“A charming eatery with delicious Hungarian brunch/lunch/dinner foods, coffees/teas & sweets. Open from 11am, I tried them at brunch yesterday and for dinner today. Delicious both times! For brunch I tried the sweet fried Hungarian style french toast, which was crunchy on the outside, sweet on the inside and filled my tummy! For dinner today, I had the Hungarian spiced meatballs and rosemary chips, with a pickled pepper. The meatballs and chips were great. The pickled stuffed pepper was surprisely good... as I usually avoid pickle, but this was a superb treat. The owners, Zolly and Ferry, gave me a bit of their coconut and chocolate cake for desert free... which was a sweet surprise. Yummy food and delightfully charming atmosphere and service. Give them a try!”
Martin's Place
“Lovely little Bistro. Food was very good and thought the price was very responable. There was 6 in our group and we all had mains and dessert and a drink worked out £25 per head and 3 of us had fillet steak which was beautifully cooked.”
Shah's Halal Food Ltd
“Good food for the good price. Mixed platter chicken rice with salad and sauce. Taste was very good and highly recommended.”
Eastern Curry
“So glad me and my family, after living in Welling for a very long time, finally went to Eastern Curry. We each had a starter and main; it was all absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. A lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant as well. A real hidden gem in the area.”
Good Taste
“Best Chinese around! I moved to Tooting a couple of years ago and had been trying to find a good Chinese until I found this place. It doesn't deliver but well worth the 30 minute round walk because the food is so good. Fresher, tastier and miles better value than anything on Uber Eats or Deliveroo. And they are always extremely friendly. Highly recommend!”
Dragons' Lounge
“Heard about the opening of this restaurant and thought we’d try it! The food came very quickly and tasted amazing we really couldn’t fault it. The decor and seating was nice and very classy. The waiters and owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend, will be coming here often!”
Karma Lounge
“New restaurant in West Drayton serving Indian food. Highly recommend the Chilli chicken and mixed grill platter. Find more on my instagram @lousdayout”
The Hubb Restaurant
“Absolutely fantastic food and even better hospitality. As soon as we entered we felt welcome. We had a jug of passion fruit juice which was nice, if a bit sweet. For starters we had the nundu and the mogo. The mogo had a nice flavour and was a good consistency. The nundu was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it. Traditionally it's just beef fat, however, as the server explained, you can't serve grilled fat on its own in the UK, so it had beef with it. It was so full of flavour and seasoned perfectly. For mains we had sukama wiki with ugali and charsi lamb curry with naan. The sukama had a lovely flavour and went well with the ugali. I tried the curry with the ugali and it didn't go as well. The curry was spicy but really rich. We had some karak chai to finish the meal and packed up everything we didn't eat. Our server was great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and I got the feel from the restaurant that they love serving people and making people happy with their food.”
Kinaara
“Got the three course meal, which additionally included some canapés and a rather delicious sourdough bread. Food was delicious and was complement by the view of Canary Wharf. I've added some photos, but forgot to takes pics of the mushroom starter and the Venison main... Also, we had already eaten a canapé before thinking a pic would be nice.”
Eltham Grill House
“Takeaway fish and chips are on a different level way above any where else that I have had fish and chips. Excellent couldn't fault it and the staff are friendly and accommodating. All freshly cooked in front of you.”
Daakoo
“Delivery only, we phoned and ordered and received the food around 35 minutes later. We had the muttar paneer and lamb vindaloo, both were really tasty though a bit sweeter (and the vindaloo was less spicy) than we are used to. The standout item was the Masala Chilli Moggo which had the most incredible flavour, absolutely delicious. Would order again just for that!”
BiBi
“What a treat this was. I popped in for lunch. Love the bar/kitchen seating. Lots to watch and eat! Food was outstanding. Really creative - genuinely Indian yet with an unexpected flair. Will absolutely come back - until they get awarded Michelin stars - then it’ll be impossible!!”
Saras Restaurant and Bar
“Just want to say we had a great evening here a couple of Saturdays ago. There was a glitch with the online booking system which meant they were not expecting the 10 of us, but Saraswati made arrangements to find us a suitable area of the restaurant swiftly. The food was great and she was really passionate about her restaurant and advising which food options to try. We would return for sure!!”
Red Onion
“If you come to Barnet, stop by here and enjoy very good Indian food. I recommend it”
Manthan
“We came here for a special evening and it didn’t disappoint. We like to try indian fine dining and compare food quality, service and value for money. Manthan definitely delivered on all. As soon as you enter it gives you a wow factor, not too big but not too small. The service is class and they are very attentive. Food is served in good time and the quality of the food is amazing. We ordered some starters, mains and grills with mocktails and we liked everything we ordered. This is now a new favourite place to go to. Now for the price, we found this very reasonable given other places we have gone to and paid way more. Definitely value for money in respect to quality of food for the price. The chicken buttermilk is out of this world! We ordered pyaaz kachori, chicken buttermilk, lamb chops, chicken tikka masala, rice, paratha, desserts and sindhu mocktail. Since the original visit in sept-22 I have gone back in feb-23 and it still maintains its high quality. Around £61pp”
One Ashbourne
“Absolutely 5 star. Yan, our waiter was a real pleasure, very helpful, attentive, and humerus throughout - the decor is lovely - and the food... The food is wonderful. The duck has set the standard for what duck should be like, and make sure you leave room for desert. The rhubarb crumble was amazing. Can't wait to return.”
Banyan on the Thames
“Had an amazing afternoon tea here. The restaurant is beautiful! A real Instagram-able place overlooking the Thames. Food was lovely and included a glass of fizz and a coffee after. And lastly the staff are super attentive and very accommodating. I’m a stickler for service and I honestly thought they were amazing. Defo recommend.”
Adchaya
“Super tasty chicken kothu and milk hopper for less than a tenner. It doesn't get much better than that for me. You can tell from the number of people who are ordering or picking up while you wait for the food that it's a good place with return customers. These dishes tasted exactly like the ones we had off the street vendors in Sri Lanka. So good!”
St Moritz Restaurant
“Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.”
Neyzen Restaurant and Pods
“This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Romford. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Waiters are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Romford. P.S : Please Keep the European Menu.”
Mint Leaf Lounge
“Very nice and tasty place. The food is delicious and service on point. Mojitos are refreshing! Mix grill nice and curry was cooked perfectly.”
International Food Store
“Best International shop in the hood! Plenty of choice and great customer service! Highly recommended!”
Aroma
“Aroma is an outstanding Indian that I would fully recommend. Along with ordering for myself and my wife every other weekend, I have made huge orders for over 80 people on several occasions. It all came in big pots and the food and service was superb. I would highly recommend Aroma and those looking for to provide for large catering events should also consider using them. They have always been friendly and eager to please - top class.”
The Coriander
“I have went here for the last 3 years and tried most things of the menu. No other Indian comes anywhere close in my mind. Staff are friendly and always offer a drink on the house at the end of my meal. Highly recommend!!”
Café Spice Namasté
“The restaurant is located in a housing community 7/8 minutes from Gallions Reach DLR station. The isolated location is beneficial for serving the local community and knowledgeable food lovers. The bridge walk to the main entrance is spectacular and a sign of the delights to come. The decor is modern with wood and Arabic-style tiling. The servers are quietly hospitable and not aggressive like other establishments. It provides a homely experience and a sense of calm. The menu provides a fusion of Asian and European cuisine. There are various tasting dishes alongside the main cuisines. The food is excellent and provides a good array of flavours. The pepper beef tikka and lamb cutlets were a particular highlight. There is an extensive collection of malt whiskeys for connoisseurs, which provides an excellent range of choices. Those with dietary restrictions will find options limited to the savoury. The dessert options are heavily dairy-based. In part, due to the isolated location, there is no rush to leave once you have completed your meal and you can enjoy the company of friends. The prices of the dishes are a reflection of the area and a reasonable price of fine food. The servers will not pressure you to leave, which provides comfort. Upon leaving you are greeted well and have the knowledge of having experienced a special style of fine dining.”
Bombay Night Leytonstone
“This little gem is right around the corner from me and makes their orders fresh as they come in. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and lamb samosas. Good value for an authentic meal and friendly customer service. Can’t beat that for a local takeout place!”
Bardhoshi
“Te morsha te ligat e groshes. I will recommend to everyone who wants to try traditional Albanian food. I'm sure they will will enjoy it”
JRC Global Buffet
“It was a really great dining experience. The staff were very quick and accomodating. Plenty varieties of foods like Brazilian Cuisine, Italian Cuisine, Indian Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Thai Cuisineanf many more. Their drinks are paid separately though. It is also good for birthday dinner or any other celebrations.”
