Levitan Dental Practice Essex Family Dentalcare

"I really like going to Levitans, they have really looked after me when I needed help. The only let down is that I was removed off there client records due to not needing to go to the dentist for the last few years (Majority of the time COVID). Now when I need them I can only get an emergency appointment, they can only see what is wrong and give a temporary fix, I was given a temporary filling which failed after 4 days. When I asked if I can get booked in to get it fixed I was told that I would have to wait to be registered there again and that I was actually on there second list. The dentist I had was amazing and said that she can save the tooth, yet I can't get booked in. The dentist also said due to not being able to get booked in if it gets worse then call 111 and get an NHS dentist to do it, but she said due to being NHS they will likely just remove the tooth than try to save it. I still need this fixed sooner rather than later as I am due to go on holiday in less than a week, its just a shame that they are unable to help me this time and meaning I will likely have to go away with this issue still"

"I have been registered with this Mawney Road Dental practice for some time, so had appointments in the past in the old building and now the new one. You may be confused here, but this is the same dentist clinic - Essexfamily Dentalcare and Levitan Dental Practice. As it is now a new address in the brand new building, the overall visiting experience has improved drastically. Not only the staff is very polite(as before) and there to help, but also you feel good going for appointments. I had two doctors and have been happy with the service so far. They would always give me precise information on the type of treatment, prices and reasons behind having one, so I am aware why certain things happen and how to avoid situation deteriorating. Very understanding and helpful. They can provide two types of treatment plans, NHS and if you'd wish to use your insurance to be covered privately. Meaning that you can choose better materials for the back of your teeth if you wish not to go NHS ways, but will have to either pay yourself or be covered through insurance. To me this means alot as I can actually get better treatment and pay less. This new building also have a parking, which is very helpful! Cannot wait for my latest treatment to start and see good results, so I may update this review later. The only downside is due to the current situation, you may find yourself waiting for your appointment for a very long time, so best not to miss your check ups, do not wait until you actually have pain! I have to say that I do recommend this place."

"Signed up here about a year ago and have to say everyone is always incredibly polite and friendly, I get my appointment easily within 2 weeks at the very most if not within a week on some occasions, issue I did have with a reoccurring tooth issue I wasn't charged for, Dentist and assistant very helpful and although professional was very funny and made me feel at ease on every visit, dental work always explained and all questions I asked them they always made sure I was happy with the options before proceeding, parking not much of an issue if you can get appointment mid day, very clean environment with free chilled water and all for very very reasonable NHS prices. Cannot recommend enough..."

"We come to this dentist as the dentists are very good. My kids are no longer frightened of a dentist chair. My hubby even got brave enough to have a tooth removed which should have been removed decades earlier... he didn't realise the tooth had even been extracted there was no pain. I can recommend this dental practice 100 per cent."

"I have NOT been to a dentist in years due to fear from past experience , After putting up with a serve toothache this dentist was only minutes away from were i live i thought i would give it go. All i can say is if you are nerves person and decide dentist are not for you, then please try these. They made me feel at ease with out ANY pressure . I would highly recommend this practice. The lady i saw and her assistant was so much help and made me feel at ease. They are there every step of the way with you, and explain everything they are doing before they do it. If you are not happy with what they going do they will stop. One of the best Dentist i have seen in a long time. If you are a nervous person these are the people to over come that. Highly recommend by a highly nervous patient. Please try them for me they are the best."
