“I used to do muai thai kickboxing many years ago. Following a injury to my hip I had to stop. I never thought I'd be able to engage in this sport I love so much. Well, until I started training with Jimmy about 5 months ago. His understanding of the body, injury prevention and rehabilitation, really helped. The range of movement in my hip continues to get better and stronger. I am faster, stronger, my technique continues to improve. I really connected well with Jimmys style of training, as its about training like a athlete, the discipline and commitment. Also his passion for the sport. When I think about where I started when I first started training with Jimmy to where I am now, I feel very thankful, plus proud of my journey and I am excited to continue progressing my skills in this sport I love very much! “I took both courses the 12 week and then the 6 week intensive, during the 2020 and then 2021 lockdown. So the course was fully done online. This course reallt is the full package. The range of content covered is SUPERB. You really do it all. Scene study, Shakespeare, Acting for commericals, Screenwork and so much more. All designed to give you more tools in your arsenal and shape your development. Every teacher is so warm and supportive and challenges you in the best way. You really feel your skill progress quickly. I am a trained actress and I honestly think this course is one of the best any actor will find regardless of their ability or experience. The online sessions midweek and the WhatsApp group help to strengthen the bond. And the cherry on top is the contacts LAW has. Most courses especially short intensives like this you are lucky if a casting director sees you once . You have the opportunity to meet 3 different ones AND film something at the end of the course that gets sent to a wide network of casting directors and agents? Come on what are you waiting for? “It is my favourite Dance Studio to go to. Missie and Gee who look after the studio are some of the most wonderful and friendliest ladies I have ever met. The community they have created is so welcoming and inclusive. I love how the classes are easy to follow wether you are new to dancing, dancing as a hobbie or professional. They always make sure that everyone is taken into account and often will listen to some of the songs you want to do and try to accommodate. I personally love the commercial, contemporary with Gee and musical theatre classes. I've done a little hip hop which I am not the best at but Missie is always so patient and encouraging. I also love their workshop, they are so much fun and very varied. They have just launched their new classes and I can't wait to try them. The new studio is BEAUTIFUL! So exciting!”
