Loake Shoemakers
● Closed“The best customer service I have ever experienced from Ben. I had bought several pairs of shoes from both the Guildford store and from Loake directly online. I rang ahead to ask about a polishing service which Ben was happy to confirm existed. Upon arriving despite Ben knowing that there wasn’t going to be sale as such he was only to happy to spend 25 mins discussing the best way to care for your shoes and take 4 pairs of shoe in to be polished professionally. To top it off as I live locally to him he delivered them to my home. The shoes are absolutely immaculate. This is the sort of customer service that is often talked about but in my experience seldom delivered with premium brands. Ben is an absolute credit to the company and if anyone at head office actually reads this I would strongly advise you to keep hold of this young man at all costs. EXCELLENT.”

● Closed“I want to provide a five star review for Ruben at the Knightsbridge store. He was so wonderful assisting me long distance in my attempt to find a pair of Kelsey Sandals sold out in my size on line. He communicated with me throughout his efforts to find them at another store (currently closed) and was always so polite, courteous and warm. Thank you Ruben! Leonor Coyle”

Joseph Cheaney & Sons
● Closed“Just starting a new job and was in search for some quality England made shoes. I made the right choice going into Cheaney. The difference in buying something online vs buying in store is the interaction and the experience from the latter! Marta at the shop showed me how to put on a pair of Chelsea boots properly - very useful advice indeed! I ended up buying a pair of black monk shoes for work, which got delivered to me and they are simply perfect! Will go back for the boots at some point. Thank you for the beautiful products and great service!”

Crockett & Jones
● Closed“Great quality with an impeccable costumer service. Had some issues with my chelsea boots, everything was sorted out with excellent professionalism by CW shop manager. A great example of "Earning customer trust can not only help you keep your existing customers, but can also help you passively earn new leads and sales through word of mouth". Highly recommended.”

Barker Shoes
● Closed“I had a problem with the shoes I brought from another branch of Barker. Vic was absolutely brilliant. He took on the issue as though it was his. He tried everything to make the shoe better and gave me lots of advice. He also gave me some shoe cream so that I can soften the leather.”

Edward Green
● Closed“Hands-down the best ready-to-wear and made-to-order shoe maker in the world. Maker of quintessential English shoes for both town and country, including the iconic Dover and Chelsea models. Crafted from the finest materials, Edward Green shoes are the only brand of shoe that has never given me a single moment of discomfort, from day one. Other brands rub or pinch until the shoe is broken in, but not Edward Green. The staff in the Jermyn Street store are knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Living where I do, I don't get to visit often, but when I do it's like visiting old friends. For me, Edward Green represents lasting quality, and expert craftsmanship. Simply the best.”

Broadberry Shoes
● Closed“I had the best service experience ever in North Finchley with Marwa who brought out 12 boxes of shoes but none suited my orthopaedic needs. In the end, I bought a £9.99 foam cleanser to clean my existing black shoes. That did the trick! Nothing was to much trouble for Marwa and she came up with a solution. Thank you!”

Joseph Cheaney & Sons
● Closed“I'll start by coming clean that, as the owner of a small bespoke tailors shop outside of the city, my shoe brand of choice for sale in my shop is actually Barker (at least, their more classic models that are ACTUALLY made in England) whom myself and my father have had a long and fruitful professional relationship. That being said, it's no secret that I regularly recommend Cheaney as an alternative and believe them to be the finest offering of ready-to-wear shoes available and truly good value-for-money. Lime Street's Manager, Alex, is a true gentleman and a true expert in his field. Should you be in the market for a pair of new shoes, there's few better chaps to help you out in all of London town. It's a testament to him that, despite my professional relationship with Barker, I will continue to recommend Alex and Joseph Cheaney to my clients in an effort to promote great shoes, great aftercare, and great service!”
