“If you are looking for an authentic Turkish food like you get in the back streets of turkey this is the place. Adana kebab like you have never tasted before. Salad is fresh and the bread is out of this world. The shop is newly made and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place. Coming back for more amazing food and more of the Turkish tea I was given whilst waiting for my food.”

“It was the only non-salty fish and chips I had in London. You'll know at first bite that it's a fried fish cooked with very fresh fish. And it was very reasonable prices! I strongly recommend it!”

“We have been to this restaurant twice now and each time the service and friendly staff led by Sybil was fantastic. The team and Sybil are very attentive and the food is beautiful. The restaurant is clean very spacious and has beautiful decor . The prices are extremely competitive to other Turkish restaurants we have been too in Hornchurch. We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. In fact we have booked again with Sybil today for the bank holiday weekend to go back as it is my wife’s birthday . We highly recommend this super restaurant. Thank you Sybil and team Ian & sharon”

“Service provided by the waiters is fantastic, but you would expect that considering the discretionary service charge will be quite hefty due to the price of the food. I had the scallops to start and they were amazing. I didn't enjoy my fillet steak and dauphinoise that much, but that could be because the complimentary bread and butter was surprisingly filling so by the time our mains came out, I wasn't so enthusiastic. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking though and whether or not I enjoyed every dish, I can't deny it was all cooked very well. It's quite dark inside the restaurant. I like that it feels private behind a closed door, and still close enough to the bustle just outside with the live music clearly audible at a comfortable level. The Ned (where the restaurant is located) is bustling and busy on a Friday night. It felt like every person working near by was there after clocking off. The eating experience is nice but can be a bit intimidating. I like that the waiters will make sure the table is clean between courses, and they came to fill our glasses with tap water constantly. They also took our coats and returned them back to us when we were ready to leave. However, I did feel like I had to be careful not to put my elbows on the table, and to hold my fork properly! Overall we enjoyed our visit here, but the price locks it out from being a regular visit. If you want a great steak you can get more food for less at Hawksmoore. But if you want to feel like you're getting a fine dining experience with your steak, Lutyens is worth a visit as a treat.”

“I have so many good things to say about Kusadasi! For one, the food is fantastic, delicious and flavoursome which is only complimented by the generous portion sizes. The price of the food is standard for Turkish, so it is not expensive for what you get. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant feels like a nice family run place. Perfect for a dinner with a partner in the evening or even with a group of friends!”

“Amazing food! Portions are big. We were served by Grace. She was lovely and so friendly. The atmosphere was just a vibe. Good food, good music. Now for the constructive criticism. I booked for a friend's birthday and chose a Friday as it was ladies night. We did not receive a welcome drink as specified on their website and social media. The mains came far too quickly as we had literally just started tucking into starters before being overwhelmed with mains which could not fit on the table with the starters. The ladies serving us needs to be more knowledgeable of the menu as everything we asked they couldn't answer. They are all friendly and welcoming but could be more experienced which can be fixed with a little training. Maybe a menu tasting for the stuff so they are prepared and more confident to answer any questions customers may have. All in all, its a great find. Defo coming back! Nice to see a great place and its black owned!!”

“Good mix of Malay, Singaporean, Thai, Chinese cuisines, etc. To an acceptable authenticity for british standards. Fair and good portion sizes not to scoff at. Great polite service. Spice ironically not too much as a lot of cream added to some dishes, although this raised some scepticism at first, the food was delicious. Pricing is very fair and affordable. Great food, can't argue with the great quality. The mixed seafood noodle dish had perfectly cooked squid, (which we all know can easily be overcooked and rubbbery) so my grandfather could easily eat it, whilst often he will pass on the squid simply as its too tough. Only mild complaint is the very bright lighting which is quite glaring for a dinner meal. Otherwise absolutely would reccomend and will come again.”

“Lovely lunch, the shellfish ( prawn cocktail) was super tasty and served in the prettiest of bowls. The monkfish and prawn curry spicy but not too hot and a really good consistency. My partner had the fish stew which he loved. Our friend had the fish pie, this was delicious, comfort food with elegance.”

“Hugely underrated fish and chip shop. Far better than others in the area that have people queuing round the block on a Friday evening. The batter is always crispy, which is the main thing, and the chips aren’t overly oily. Lucky to have this place.”

Fast and made with what I assume to be a ton of love :’) my FAVOURITE place to get a chicken donner wrap (with burger sauce and abit of chilly). The portion sizes are perfect and they’re very generous with sauce if you request more, unlike some other shops! Love love love them and will always be going back ❤️”
