Joseph Cheaney & Sons
“Amazing staff! Quality leather shoes. Just a fantastic experience all the way around. I would recommend this shop to everyone.”
Richard James
“UPDATE: I now feel compelled to write here that Myles has arranged an effective resolution to this situation which has left me entirely satisfied with the customer service of Richard James, which I judge to be remarkable in having gone above and beyond the call of duty in order to make amends here. Ordered a few things in their sale only to learn a week later that none of it was stocked in London. Ended up waiting nearly a month for my order to arrive from New York. They still neglected to refund even my postage despite my asking. In fact, when I phoned their 'customer care' line the gentleman I spoke to seemed as if he could not care less about the inconvenience. I definitly will not be shopping here again.”
Baudoin & Lange
“Got a really cool pair of loafers here. The staff were really helpful with selection - definitely go with a tassel!”
Crockett & Jones, 92 Jermyn Street
“The only shoemaker I've found that knows more about footwear other than the shoes. Especially aftercare, they managed to find my exact shoe polish and brush kit that even church shoes didn't know much about.”
Three Horseshoes
“Always enjoy our meal here! Lovely atmosphere and great food.”
New & Lingwood
“I've used New and Lingwood for years and usually attend the shop for suits and other bits however I ordered a shirt online and made the error of picking a linen one by accident. When i returned the package i did so using Royal Mail and didn't add tracking. Obviously Royal Mail lost the package. After following up with New & Lingwood they spend a week or so looking for it and Royal Mail said it was lost. New and Lingwood have returned to me with a Credit Memo and are honouring the refund anyway. A small gesture however I think it show's how they think of their customers. Very pleased to say I will continue to shop there thanks to Joel and his team (and the beautiful clothes).”
Russell & Bromley Ltd.
“Excellent service and informed discussion in mens section from the staff member. Knew his subject and all about the shoe industry. I was browsing but will certainly return to buy one of the shoes he showed and taljed about. Good service in every sense. Thankyou!”
Edward Green
“Hands-down the best ready-to-wear and made-to-order shoe maker in the world. Maker of quintessential English shoes for both town and country, including the iconic Dover and Chelsea models. Crafted from the finest materials, Edward Green shoes are the only brand of shoe that has never given me a single moment of discomfort, from day one. Other brands rub or pinch until the shoe is broken in, but not Edward Green. The staff in the Jermyn Street store are knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Living where I do, I don't get to visit often, but when I do it's like visiting old friends. For me, Edward Green represents lasting quality, and expert craftsmanship. Simply the best.”
Charles Tyrwhitt
“Highly recommend if you’re in the market for new shirts or suits. Good selection for a small store and the service has always been impeccable. Would like to specially mention Amit, he always goes over an above what’s needed. True credit to the company and store. I would only purchase through him going forward!”
