I am half Persian so know about good Persian food as my dad is an amazing cook and this restaurant has top quality food and it’s always cooked to perfection every time I order or dine in. The koobideh and joojeh is my favourite but for a stew I always have gormeh sabzi. The chips are really nice too. I have also had catering from them for a party and as usual they gave a great service! Highly recommend.”

“Amazing location, just opposite Bromley south station! Staff were very friendly, generous and caring! Food was phenomenal, portion sizes were very generous ! Very luxurious and atmospheric inside, feels like a very expensive restaurant but all the prices are very good and reasonable for what portions you get! Music was good, not too loud, so we could still talk amongst ourselves, We went on their opening day and for their first day it was a very good experience, I would for sure recommend this place to anyone! I’ll for sure be back again, not once, not twice but many times in the near future!”

Standout dishes for me were : - Lamb Nihari - Kheema Pav - Malai Chicken Tikka - Social Chicken Curry Only critique would be the service which can be slow at times, but I'm sure theyll work it out. 100% recommend”

Everything is beyond perfection and make this one of the best restaurants in London if you want atmosphere, great food and great service ... all at a very reasonable price. I haven't tried all dishes yet but so far I was blown away by the Bamia (OKRA) and the Awaze Tibsi. I'm really fascinated by the vernacular decor of the place, which really makes you feel like you just stepped in Eritrea. The background songs are all beautiful (it made me discover the artist Abrar Osman!). And, nevertheless, the people are so welcoming and make you really feel at home, both the restaurateurs and the loyal clients. A special mention to Jordanos for introducing me to the dishes and for generally being nice and chatty. Couldn't recommend it more!”

“Very good Ethiopian at a very reasonable price. It's £32 for the sharing multi platter for 2 very hungry, or 3 sort of hungry people. The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”

“One of the best italian restaurants in London can be found in Tooting Market (and probably even better than a lot of italian restaurants in Italy!!) The food was amazing and you can taste all the super fresh ingredients perfectly cooked! I cannot wait to visit again! Pictured: - Calabrian spicy prawns in tomato served with sourdough - my ultimate favourite dish, the sauce is amazing and prawns were cooked to perfection! - Burrata with heritage tomatoes & black truffle vinaigrette - Croquettes - wild mushroom served with salsa rossa - Pumpkin Gnocchi - Vermicelli, smoked salmon, prawns and spicy capers - Slow cooked beef shin Lasagne - Affogato - Tiramisu - by far one of the best tiramisu I have had in my life and I have been to Italy a few times!”

They offer exceptional customer service from start to finish. They are extremely friendly and welcoming. They understand the importance of customer satisfaction and always deliver to a high degree. I can tell this restaurant will continue to be a success because they are consistent in their service, which has led me to bring many of my friends and family there. The food is also 10 out of 10! “I've never tried Iraqi food before but Ya Hela has introduced me to how wonderful it is. I say wonderful because it was a true meat feast! Their most popular item, the lamb kofte kebab had a lovely outer crust yet absolutely broke apart when trying to pick it up. I finally found something more sensitive than vegans. This alone was great however they have speciality lamb dishes with 3x more meat. Now we talking. Lamb shank - Pure, served with rice, no sauces or spices as such. Just tender, beautiful meat falling off the bone and you'd never complain for wanting more even though it's hella simple. Lamb neck - now this I could relate to a desi dish because it was another massive chunk of lamb but sat on top of a bed of broken up naan which has soaked up spices. Wow, this was almost like when I have Nihari, naan soaked up except this meat is on another level! Arabic Shwarma was pretty good though just needed more sauce inside but they have sauces provided anyway so that was fine. The chicken wings were a little dry for my liking. Service and atmosphere were fantastic, it was pretty busy and loved seeing massive pieces of lamb being eaten up. Very much liked this spot guys, try those lamb dishes and kebabs and you will not be disappointed! Taste: 9, Quality: 9, Value: 9”

“Had a fantastic evening there. Staff were excellent and the food was lipsmackingly good. Tried the allo chaat, gol guppa and the samosa chaat for starters and loved the samosa chaat the most. The lamb chops were recommended to me by Sunny but I went for the Shank. Such a mistake!!!.... Not because the shank wasn't good but tried some of the lamb chops from my friend and it is to die for. Daal Bukhara was also fantastic. But the Paan ice-cream was mind blowing. Grew up eating both , Paan and ice cream , but never tasted Paan ice-cream. Fantastic”

“I went to this restaurant with some friends and we were here for 5 hours! I chose this restaurant out of the other west African restaurants because they do not use Crayfish and every African restaurant seems to use it. Auntie was so kind and endearing, she was very funny also! The night ended with a wonderful discussion and rather heating discussion in a good way it was nice to have the restaurant with ourselves to converse with auntie I had Nkanenskwan with emu too, red red and plantain. It was very filling and delicious, the spice kicks the throat really quickly! I do plan to come back again it was just so cosy, cultural and nice”

“We went here for our work Christmas meal and were blown away by the service and food! Jon was fantastic throughout, greeting us, taking orders and even bringing out the food! Every plate of food was delicious and for drinks/food to come to £50 per head was mind blowing (we had the 6 dish tasting menu + beers/wine).
