PopGems® Academy - Performing Arts, Dance & Drama Classes in Beckenham
● Closed“My daughter has been attending Pop Gems since the age of 3 years and it has been a great confidence builder for her, she has made great friends and had amazing opportunities to perform in a theatre. They are a great team of teachers who encourage the best out of all the children. They have been amazing with the communication throughout Covid-19, keeping parents and students up to date with changes and recommendations for all to return safely. I have been confident in the return to studios knowing they are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and up to date with the every changing regulations and guidelines. The Popgems family is warm, accomodating and understanding. A perfect first time social extracurricular that im grateful my daughter is part of.”

Drama School Success - Audition Coaching
● OpenLondon EC1V 0HN, United Kingdom“I started taking classes with Benjamin in order to prepare for my drama school auditions and due to his hard work, I have received offers from NYU, Pace univeristy, AMDA and Marymount manhattan! Benjamin is an incredibly talented and passionate coach, with whom it is always a pleasure to work with. When I first started taking class with him, I knew very little about how to perform shakespeare monologues (which are essential for drama school auditions). Benjamin guided me through each monologue, and he also made sure to help me pick my monologues carefully. He put in the time and effort in order to find monologues which suited me. We also worked on modern monologues and he taught me how to understand the story I am portraying, which is what I believe got me through so many auditions. Every session we did was always so much fun as he is such an inspiration and is always there to guide you through your work. He taught me acting techniques which I will forever be using in my work and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing, talented and inspirational coach.”

Reflect Productions - Merton Park Drama Club
● Open“We discovered Reflect Productions at the start of the first lockdown. To say that these lessons, as well as the martial arts sister school, we’re the foundations of sanity and joy during those times is an understatement! In less than two years, peppered with lockdowns, isolation and reunions, we have seen the children deliver incredible performances, build beautiful friendship, learn excellent, core transferable skills and distinctions in two sets of LAMDA exams! No other school has managed a smidge of this during this time. Where others have used covid as an excuse for stepping back, Kirsty and her team have stepped up their game to deliver even more magic to children desperately in need of it and parents aching for something wonderful in times they’ve not been able to provide it. I teach teachers at UCL. If one in every hundred became as dedicated and thoughtful and committed and kind to their students as every one of the teachers are in this performing arts school, I’d be besides myself with gladness! As for my daughters opinion “if I had to skip every class I have and playtimes, I would to be able to carry on doing my performing arts classes”.”

Bedfont Primary School

I used to go to another school and moved when I was in year 5.Everyone from Bedfont primary was so welcoming, kind and thoughtful and they were so helpful. If i had any problem there was someone who you could talk to any time. When I moved to year 6 I knew it would get harder from the SAT’s but all the teachers would say is you can only do your best and whatever you get we will be proud of you! That made keep on pushing to do my best and the next thing I know is I did really well on my tests and that’s all thanks to my year 6 teacher Mrs Bissel,Mrs Thorn,Mr Mcallan and most thanks goes to my amazing teacher Miss Roberts! I had only been there for a year and a half and it already felt like home and it felt we were all a big family and I loved that .So please go to Bedfont primary because I want it to grow and help more and more children.”

This is down to the wonderful teachers that encourage and build confidence. Suzanne, her daughters Sophie, Rachel and Georgia and all of the other great teachers that work there are of the highest calibre.I can't recommend strongly enough for all aspects of performing, dancing and acting.”
