“I cannot recommend Lucia and The Uptown Dog enough. We've been taking our Cavapoo, Dexter, here ever since he was a puppy and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dexter is always so excited to see Lucia and he comes back looking and smelling incredible every time. Not only is Lucia a brilliant groomer, she clearly loves all of her dogs (and they love her!), and takes her time to get to know them, their needs and make them feel comfortable in the salon.”

“Shelley has walked our boxer Boycie for over a year and half, we couldn’t wish for a better person for him. Shelley is committed, professional, friendly, and trustworthy. Boycie has been challenging with other dogs, but he respects Shelley and loves his walks/runs at the private field. Shelley understands Boycie and his triggers. Boycie is such a better dog in packs now since being with Shelley. Shelley is always flexible with days, and adds in weekend field days too. We love receiving pictures of Boycie’s walks showing the fun his had. Boycie knows the days Shelley is coming and waits for her, runs too the door as soon as he hears the van (which may I add is another plus knowing the dogs travel securely too). Boycie is besotted with Shelley, howls when we replay videos and we call Shelley his 2nd mum. We would 1000% recommend Shelley.”

Ellie managed to get stains off from Alfie’s molars and his teeth gets so white after. Well worth the 20 pound investment to maintain his teeth and gum health!”

“Nicola took a very good care of my dog when she was boarding for over two weeks. I received daily updates, photos and videos and I could tell that my little girl was having great time. Sam is a true lover of sausage dogs and offered the 5* home from home treatment you'd want (and more!), after visiting kennels I just knew it wouldn't be right for our sausage - therefore so pleased we discovered Hotel Dachshund. Sam was incredible at keeping us informed whilst we were away and photo galore which personally we loved! It was incredible to see him play with others and make new friends - leaving you stress free to enjoy your holiday! An incredible boarding service that we'll definitley return for! Love that they are small and local which is more personal and the one to one service they offer compared with the larger corporates. A super lovely family run business who treat your fur baby's like their own. I trust my little Archie with them completely. His tail wags just at the sound of their voices on the telephone and he cannot wait to hang out with their cockerpoo Teddi. Highly recommended. UPDATE 14.12.22 : Little Archibald is now 3 years old. Time flies when you're having fun and my precious little pea is still living his best life at Queens Bark with whom he's grown up with. I often consider moving further afield but cannot imagine tearing my little one away from his big brother Teddi and his Queens Bark family. His waggy little tail every morning when they do their daily pick up is just so heartwarming and reassuring to witness.”

“I highly recommend It’s a Dog‘s Life. Gibson my crazy Irish Setter cross was with them for almost 3 years and he loved the pack and the team. I travelled a lot and so he would spend overnights and weekends too and I always knew he was safe and very happy. “We love Danielle. She is amazing. Friendly, connects with the doggies and its obvious she loves her job. My Hercules loves going for a groom, Danielle puts him at ease, sits on the floor and plays with him and takes her time to do the best possible job she can on him. his coat was very knotty this time so we had to go super short but she consulted me before doing this and always keeps me informed eith pictures throughout his time with her. it's a nice environment too, with a doggie couch, toys and there's enough parking available too. I cant fault Danielle and wish I'd found her from the start rather than a nearby big chain petshop who were completely impersonal and left us with unpleasant experiences. Danielle really cares and that's what makes her so good at her job.”

“Anna & Kasia are lovely people and my small Cavapoo loves them. They always give her a great haircut but also let us know if there are any issues with her ears, paws and fur. They are clearly well qaulified at more than just dog grooming. We have been going since their delayed opening post lockdown in early 2021 and have never gone anywhere since. They are also available for doggy day care and every other client we have spoken to are equally happy and loyal. “My Pomeranian has been groomed in Teddy Bear since they are newly opened. Tracy does the groom very professional! My fur baby is now 16 and has many health problems all in a sudden that I cannot deal with his groom by myself. However Tracy never turn me down and help as much as she could. She loves dogs whole heartedly and I would recommend Teddy Bear for everyone especially who has Pomeranian.”

“Jamie gave me a hard time about my dog. I like that. Got a Pommy as wife and 4 kids didn’t want a German Shepard. I think I have the worse kept looking Pommy in Essex and I will try to do better Jamie. The fact Jamie took me to task in a kind way shows he is not a Slimy ar$e licking shop owner just in it for the money. I will always come back and I recommend to anyone with a dog like mine to come here for grooming . When my dog leaves this pet Spa I feel like I could pull off putting on a mini skirt and a blonde wig and pretend to be Paris Hilton walking with my Pommy under my arm. Previous pet groomer I went to butchered my dogs hair and I deeply regret going to any odd pet groomer. I should have gone to Pet Spa Essex and done the research. “Katy is a lovely lady who has cut my puppy Millie (sproodle) and washed a Cocker Spaniel for me. She did a great job on the cut, Millie came out looking fabulous and was obviously very comfortable there. When we looked after someone's cocker spaniel she kindly fit us in last minute for a wash, and even took out all the matting under his belly for us. I would highly recommend going to Vanity Fur!”
