“Took my son for his birthday to try Dim sum as he wanted too so badly. We absolutely loved our meal tasted fantastic the staff was so nice and friendly seems like a family run place, i was really genuinely impressed with everything. To top it up as we paid the lovely lady brought a gift to my son for his birthday and a hand written card . Touch of class thank you so much panda staff for a delicious meal and a nice time .”

“One of the best dim sums and roasted duck in London, without a doubt. The prawn and chive dumpling is the juiciest and best dim sum you'd ever tasted in your life. Also recommend the pork/prawn cheung fun, Shanghai pork dumplings, vegetarian dumpling in chili oil and a portion of roasted duck is a must. The service is friendly and impeccable, the only downside is due to the popularity, you'll most likely have to wait in a line. But the food is definitely worth the wait!”

The Thai Elephant management should be proud of the staff, as Chinese/Thai restaurants are notorious for an impersonal robotic service, however your staff are amiable, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable (while not being overbearing), and maintaining a professional distance. “I have been here a few times since it has opened and every time I have been the staff and service has been outstanding. A special shout-out to our lovely waitress Sophie. All the staff here are so lovely but Sophie was just so nice and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and all the waitresses went above and beyond to make it so special. We arrived at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant till after 10pm. They made us feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much to ask. “My first experience here was really good. I came here for dinner. Very friendly staff, great service, the ambience is nice and the food is great! I could feel that the chef is quite diligent in cooking every dishes. Out of the restaurants in the area, I think I had my best experience here. I had the Peking duck, beef noodles and classic dim sum which were authentic. The staff are extremely professional and kind. This has become my favourite new Chinese restaurant to eat and I can‘t wait to revisit again!”

“We absolutely loved it here when we visited. We went around 5pm and the restaurant was empty however very quickly filled up. The staff were very friendly and chatty and greeted us warmly when we arrived. The food was unreal- we loved every plate that we had! To start we shared the duck spring rolls, spicy prawn dim sum and the chicken bao buns (which were my favourite) and then for mains we had the shredded beef in chilli sauce and the firecracker chicken (which did have a kick to it). They also had a great cocktail selection my favourites being thr lychee & lemon grass and the spiced rum watermelon mojito - both amazing! Would definitely recommend.”

“We ordered our food to be delivered to our house. The food was prepared and delivered in a very timely fashion. Most of the dishes came with a sauce, in a little airtight container so that it would not spill. The food was amazing. The mushroom or mixed fungus were the star of the show. The other dishes were just as great. The spring rolls were crispy and tasty, and considering they were in a container they didn't get soggy! Definitely a place to go, or order from!”

“Store front stood out and the service was very relaxed and comfortable. Wait time was around 5 mins for duck rice and wonton chilli. I was surprised by the extra portion of chilli oil and chicken soup given. Flavours are very strong keeping to the authentic Chinese style. The duck didn’t have a lot of fat and was very succulent and flavoursome. Portion wise it was fulfilling. The whole meal costed £20, enough for two. The duck was deboned a lot, possibly to suit the vibe. The chilli wonton was very spicy and the filling had a strong prawn taste which was great. Overall would recommend this as lunch.”

“Really glad to find this restaurant has opened up locally. Dishes are such a reasonable price that I plan to come here again and often. We had pork and prawn wonton noodle soup, beef brisket noodle soup and the Beijing pork dumplings. The beef brisket noodle soup was the standout dish…the meat was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth.”
