His energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and within minutes of your first meeting you will be relaxed, encouraged and comfortable within yourself, and the group you are dancing with. The atmosphere is positive and proactive. Jack's style of teaching is thorough and encouraging. MS Dance

● Closed
2 Patshull Road, London NW5 2LB, United Kingdom

“Learning to dance is an incredibly rewarding experience that offers numerous physical and mental benefits. Learning a specific dance style like salsa improves your general dancing abilities, and the process can be both fun and challenging. Magda will help improve your coordination, technique, musicality, flexibility, and overall fitness. If you are a beginner or you've done a few drop-in classes, I recommend taking classes with Magda as she will quickly boost your self-confidence and help you develop a greater appreciation for music and rhythm. Whether you're looking to socialise, build up to performance level, or wish to have fun and meet people, learning to dance with Magda is a great way to get active and explore your creativity. Highly recommended.”

● Open
7 Langley Street, London WC2H 9JA, United Kingdom

“Leilah is a breath of fresh air!! I was feeling so excited and nervous about learning belly dancing and I’m so happy that life led me to her!! She is encouraging, supportive, kind and funny!! She is incredibly knowledgeable and I loved the pace of the class. She addresses any questions/concerns while continuing to move the class forward which I appreciated, as it stopped me from overthinking and allowed me to relax and have fun!! She created a great choreography for us to learn throughout the series and really made sure that we had all that we needed to learn the material. I had a blast and can not wait to sign up for her next series!! Thank you Leilah!!”

Iris Pole Dance Studio

● Open
16 Spurstowe Terrace, London E8 1LT, United Kingdom

“As one of Google's local guides, I must say that I am really glad that I came across Iris pole's ad on Instagram. This has completely changed my perspective on how to train efficiently and smart. As someone who has never had any experience in any sort of dance or specific sports, pole became a passion rather than just a routine work out for me. But this could not have happen without the support of all the instructors in Iris studio. Firstly, the place is very convenient to reach, 2 mins away from Kilburn and 3 mins away from Brondsbury stations. It is only for women which is a plus for me personally. Great, clean and decent size changing room with racks to store your belongings safely ( this is a big plus as some other studios that I have gone, do not have this facility). They provide you with yoga blocks and mats so you don't have to carry yours. Trainees get to have one pole per person for the whole session and you are not sharing the pole with others. This ensures that you are getting the most out of your work out and of course hygiene wise it is far better and safer. They also make sure that all equipment are sanitised before the next session starts. One thing I noticed and loved about this place is that for all the new joiners, Marina or any other instructors greet the newbies, guide them around the studio and ask about about any previous experience or injuries. I have not seen this level of care in other places which puts them higher than any other average studio in London. The trainings that they give you very much depends on your level of experience. Even the combos have modifications for the less experienced individuals. So if you are a newbie, you will be given easier moves and if you are experienced you will be given challenges. However, they do not push you or make you do anything that you do not feel confidant or comfortable with. Their level of customer care is beyond what I was expecting. When I came down with Covid, I could not attend few sessions, of course I cancelled within the allowed timing (3 but what stood out for me was that they extended my membership without even having me asking for it. This was an issue with Exotica studio where they refused to provide any sort of solution for my cancelation whilst I was in self isolation. Be aware that classes get booked very quickly as they are in high demand so you've got to reserve your spot very fast before it gets fully booked, I have missed my chance few times as I was busy with other things. So if you want to book a class for the end of the week best is to do it at beginning of the week as by mid week it will be already fully booked. My advice for this studio is keep up the excellent work and service. You guys are all stars.”

Shimmi Shake Dance Studio

90 Saint John's Road, Petts Wood, Orpington BR5 1HY, United Kingdom

“I moved in Bromley nearly one year ago. I never thought that I would find such a great dance school (with a history of ~30yrs) near to where I live. Really pleased that I found Shimmi Shake for my 3 year old daughter. Professional and lovely teachers with great results on their students. The show was held last week and it was absolutely amazing and rewarding to watch (including my daughter’s perfomance ☺️). My daughter loves it and loved the show too-she wants to do it again! I would recommend Shimmi Shake to parents.”

“I joined Arabian Rose in 2018 and have been learning with Sandra throughout this period (including classes during lockdown). I started in level 1 and have been in level 4 for some time now. Arabian Rose is well run and organised. The classes are excellent; Sandra is a very skilled teacher and absolutely passionate about dance. His passion, professionalism, natural flair, all round expertise and his natural gift as a dancer and as a teacher are second to none. He never ceases to amaze me with his intricate knowledge of so many Greek dances. He generates a terrific environment in class. The highlight of my week. The lessons are always so vibrant and fun. Salsa Tropical London - Private Lessons

● Closed
London E14 9XY, United Kingdom

“I was a complete beginner and tried a number of other classes before deciding on Salsa Tropical. My experience with others varied from good to absolutely off putting and discouraging. I eventually came across Maria's classes through Londonsalsa. Maria and her team are really great teachers. They are always attentive and observant, picking up on small details when you make mistakes to help improve your overall styling. There are several classes to ensure you are with others of the same level. Each class always has a male and female lead, who participate in all the exercises so they dance with you during the lessons. Great way to identify any mistakes. There is always a lot of emphasis on timing, technique, and styling, but above all, the environment is friendly, fun and supportive. Definitely recommend Salsa Tropical if you are looking to start or improve Salsa!”
