“So impressed with this little pub!! I’ve driven past loads and felt like it deserved a visit. It’s less ‘micropub’ and more ‘classy bar’ vibes. Great music and amazing selection of drinks. They actually have taps on the tables with iPads where you can fill up your own cocktails or beers, what a super concept! The decor is sublime as it gives the impression you are in a holiday destination rather than in a pub in Blackfen. The icing on the cake was when I went to the ladies. Never have I ever been in an establishment where sanitary products, perfume and hair spray are provided, without the looky looky lady! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you”

“Very cool upholstered sitting spaces. Wish it was a tad brighter there, but we move. The selection of food and drinks was soooo good- had the carrot cake with ice cream, would so recommend. “Such a wonderful place to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. Atmosphere is cosy and friendly, coffee is always good and served with a fresh carafe of cucumber water. Amazing selection of fresh made breakfast/brunch or lunch dishes which you will struggle to choose from because of the wonderful choices on offer. Today I really enjoyed their smoked salmon, scrambled egg and crushed avocado on sourdough toast with dill dressing. It was so tasty. The smoked salmon wasn't too strong or too salty, the scrambled egg was not over cooked but moist and soft and the dill dressing was not in anyway overpowering, which was fantastic because I'm not a great dill fan. I've also heard (but as of yet not experienced) their weekend tapas evenings are really delicious and looking at their selection of wines on offer it looks like something I definitely need to try. All in all I'd recommend you give it a try because I know you won't be disappointed. Oh and to top it all the staff are lovely.”

There's limited on street parking but their take away service is relatively fast too. Amazing and nothing else. Everything so tasty and the service is outstanding. I'm always buying food from here from about one year and I have never been disappointed with it. Must try. Best fried chicken and burgers in Croydon! Morleys is next door, don’t fall for it, just go to Elroys, you won’t be disappointed!”

“As far as pizza goes, Pizza Pilgrims deserved a definite 5 stars. With unique options (including vegetarian and vegan ones), both pizzas I tried had amazing flavor, the perfect amount of goey cheese, and were just the right size to leave me feeling satisfied. My mate and I ordered the the 8-Cheese and Double Pepperoni & Spicy Honey pizzas. As someone who doesn’t tend to like pepperoni pizza, I really enjoyed this one. The spicy honey added a perfect kick and the pepperoni had just the right amount of crisp. For the 8-cheese, the sweet chili jam absolutely made it, and complete with the tableside chili oil was perfect. Splitting the two pizzas offered the perfect contrast between the different flavors as well. The dough was crispy on the outside but still a bit softer and chewy on the inside which is exactly how I like it. I have yet to find a better place for pizza and London, and honestly, this was better than any pizzas I experienced when last in Italy either.”

“Been a few years we are going to this Turkish restaurant when we have friends and family visiting. It has delicious Turkish food! Better meat plates than fish. Small portions for the starters but very tasty! The Lamb beyti kebab is a must try!”
