Not So Indian
● Closed“The most delicious food I’ve had in a long time and at a very reasonable price for where they’re situated. I needed something to eat whilst staying in my hotel and it was between this place and the M&S Simply Food in the BP across the road. I am so happy I chose this place! I bought the Turkish Kebab Wrap and a bag of pakoras, they were both divine. The pakoras were the size of my fist almost and there were four of them. The wrap came with sumac, bell pepper, red onion, herbs and spices and it was so satiating and satisfying to eat. I also tried a rose flavoured Faluda drink to wash it all down and it was refreshing and smooth. The service was perfect, polite and swift. Truly a little gem of a place and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be paying a visit.”

Bayleaf Restaurant
● Open“Wow wow wow! The most delicious food and stunning presentation! I cannot believe I have lived in Whetstone for many years and never dined here before. My husband and I were greeted by Sanaz and she was extremely friendly, she escorted us to our seats where we were greeted by Bodrul with the menus. We ordered starters & mains and it was probably the best food we have ever eaten in an Indian restaurant. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here as the food is absolutely stunning. We spoke loads with Bodrul and Mitras and they were so lovely and provided excellent service. Can’t wait to return and dine here again! See you all soon”
-
Kipling Indian Restaurant
● Open“Kipling's continues to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I visited with a friend after drinks and it hit the spot again. We shared a tandoori mixed grill platter which was perfectly cooked and I had Chilli Chicken Massala which is my favourite curry here. The Naan was soft with a touch of crispiness and our side of Bhindi Bhaji had been cooked until just before it lost the firmness, nothing like the mushy version you get elsewhere.”

Spice N Nice - PIZZA & INDIAN
● Open“This is a really good pizza take away option - however not the typical Italian style. They are different in their offering and while I was sceptical of the curry base pizzas, they actually work! These pizzas provide a good hit of spice and flavoursome toppings. The quality overall was very good. They gave me a portion of complementary wings - these were very very good. In fact, the kids enjoyed them more than the pizza. The menu is huge and I’ve only sampled two pizzas and a portion of wings. Based on these items alone, I was really impressed with this place.”

Zara 1 Restaurant & Takeaway
● Open“A humble restaurant in West London (Hayes) that offers a great tasty Pakistani food for a low budget. The food is spicy, I always go for "Chicken biryani" as It's my favourite and It's only for £3. I would recommend you to go there around 4:00pm or 9:00pm to be served quickly without any need to wait, unlike midday, you'd be waiting in a massive queue while you wouldn't find any space where you can eat in as well. (This has been my favourite Pakistani restaurant since my first day in London back in 2018).”

SRI RATHIGA Restaurant

From their different types of chutneys, their medu wadas (my personal favorite), to sweet dishes everything just tastes amazing. They make home made rasmalai, and their payasam is to die for. If you miss home and are looking for an authentic Indian food, this place is the place for you!”
