However she decided that the shoes were unsuitable and tried to return them for a refund. The shop refused, despite the shoes being brand new and with a receipt because she no longer had the box. She feels misled and I wonder why on earth she was not advised of the consequences at the time of purchase? There was a very small glitch in the measurement and I got upset (as every bride does) but crystal never failed to rectify things. They sorted everything out perfectly.
