"Was looking for a dog friendly pub to meet friends for lunch. It was a great place. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, helped move other customers around to enable us to put two tables together. Food was good and the staff made us feel very welcome. Also has a nice beer garden."

"Basic pub menu but the food is excellent, friendly staff, seems busy early evenings but trade seems to taper off by about 9ish, nice gardens, average car parking but a bit more in the street"

"Booked this place today as partners parents were up for the weekend. Food was lovely and served quite quickly considering the pub was quite busy. For Sunday roasts a choice of ham, lamb, beef or chicken with a selection of vegetables or you could also have scampi or burger. The staff were friendly and polite. Dinner was great. We had to wait a while longer for the puddings , but they were apologetic. Nice size portions. Where we sat there were placards with funny sayings on which kept us amused in-between courses. All in all a nice meal to round off a lazy Sunday ."
