Gup Shup - Chit Chat Chai
● Closed3 Clockhouse Lane, Romford RM5 3PH, United Kingdom“I had high expectations going here and the food surpassed them with ease! This will probably end up becoming my favourite local restaurant and there is some good competition in the area, so it says a lot! Prices are very reasonable and the place looks great as well, they have put a lot of effort into bringing this place to life! The only downside is that there are nowhere near enough seats because this place will get very popular very soon! I will be eating here again as soon as I can, and so should you!”

Chai
● Closed87 Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley BR1 5AA, United Kingdom“We were visiting family in the area and happened across this lovely café. Very friendly owner & staff. We were so impressed on our first visit that we ate lunch there the following day too. Both days the food was lovely. Great choice of deli style sandwiches/rolls - we chose ciabatta - and the fillings were plentiful, fresh and a bit different to the usual run of the mill sandwiches offered in many other cafés. We also tried their eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection. Fruit smoothies were also terrific. They also offer cakes & pastries. Very reasonable prices too. We highly recommend Chai With Friends. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.”

Maya's Chai
● Closed“My friend recently introduced me to this cute little coffee shop. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was recommended the Pink Chai which is vegan friendly, just ask for your favourite non dairy milk with it. We also had the mini samosas which paired very well with the Pink Chai. Definitely recommend visiting this lovely place and I will be visiting again soon. Thank you to the owner for taking time to talk to us.”

Café Chai
● Closed“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”

Café Chai
● Closed“I found this gem of a place just by chance and was immediately taken in by the ambience. A family run business, where the owners are extremely passionate about their job- evident by personal touches to the decor (hand painted henna designs on the wall), an open plan kitchen where you can clearly see how food is prepared, a warm welcome by the host and best is the choice of both Eastern and Western breakfast, complete with Kadak chai or Lassi!! I cannot recall ever having that diversity. Owners are Muslim, so bacon rashers are replaced by turkey, which I personally thought was a healthier option, but I will always opt for vegetarian anyway. I will strongly recommend this place, not least because it's a small family run business.”

Chai Thali
● Closed“Amazing authentic experience. The restaurant is not on the busy city street unlike others but once you inside the vibe is totally different. They have nicely decorated and the food was just splendid. We ordered mostly starter and take biryani for parcel. Portion were also reasonable with the price and suffice for couple. We tried meetha pan and white chocolate samosa for dessert and couldn't get enough. All the item were made with so much detailing and love which you can feel in every bite. Highly Recommended !”

The Tea House
● ClosedPaddenswick Road, London W6 0UL, United Kingdom“Delicious and wholesome home made food served at lunch time. I especially recommend the salads. The cafe opens early in the morning and is a great place to stop and have a coffee or tea. Croissants, Pain au chocolat/raisin and a choice of filled baguettes are also available and are heated or toasted as requested. There is also a good selection of cakes and ice creams. Children are welcome and there is a play area nearby. The tea rooms makes a great meeting place for friends with children and on warm sunny days it can get very busy. Most importantly there is always a warm and friendly welcome from Mahmoud and Mohammed and their staff.”
