“We took our 1 year old rescue German Shepherd/Husky to be groomed today not knowing how he would react. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Marley was happy to poodle off to be groomed. He came back to us wagging his tail looking and smelling gorgeous. Thank you so much for looking after him and treating him so well. “I had my cat reside at this lovely home from home cat hotel for the first time recently. I was apprehensive about how he might cope, never having been away before. I need not have worried. Sarah gives a wonderful caring service, and clearly loves looking after cats and thinks of it as a privilege! Max settled easily, and was slways so relaxed when I popped in. Regular updates were provided and great photos attached. It is obvious that the cats who stay at Dulverton get the 5 star treatment, and health and cleanliness are attended to. The cat hotel is very spotlessly clean, and warm and comfortable.... I would highly recommend this establishment for any cat.”

With only 6 suites, you can be confident that your cats will be getting a lot of love and attention and this is demonstrated in the regular updates and photos that Gabriela sends. They arguably get more treats and attention while holidaying here than they do at home! One of the main reasons we first went with Longcroft Kenley was due to one of our cats needing sub-cutaneous fluids administering during their stay. Gabriela was only too happy to do so and took the time to learn the process and apply it confidently. When he had a small episode during his stay, Gabriela was calm and informative throughout, using her own initiative to manage the problem and giving me the confidence that he was in good hands, significantly reducing the stress of being away while he was unwell. In my experience (since we buy the top tier "all-inclusive" package for their stays) it works out at about twice what we would pay at a normal cattery but you are getting 5 times the service for that price and I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else now.”

“We love Danielle. She is amazing. Friendly, connects with the doggies and its obvious she loves her job. My Hercules loves going for a groom, Danielle puts him at ease, sits on the floor and plays with him and takes her time to do the best possible job she can on him. his coat was very knotty this time so we had to go super short but she consulted me before doing this and always keeps me informed eith pictures throughout his time with her. it's a nice environment too, with a doggie couch, toys and there's enough parking available too. I cant fault Danielle and wish I'd found her from the start rather than a nearby big chain petshop who were completely impersonal and left us with unpleasant experiences. Danielle really cares and that's what makes her so good at her job.”

Otto knows when we arrive at the top of the street it’s time for a bath and you’ve never seen a dog run so fast TOWARDS the bath. He absolutely loves being groomed by Mel and this is a testament to Mel and the care and professionalism she gives to all her clients. The best groomer we have used and we cannot recommend her highly enough.”

And rebels against being handled where her nails are concerned.. but I was pleasantly amazed by Doctor (Farhe) I know I've mis-spelt his name "apologies!" And the Nurse (name not known) they were able to clip her nails with ease.. I feel Bambi (my cat) picked up on their Male Pheromones.. so resistance was futile!!! “We took our rescue Pomeranian to Curracloe for his first groom. He came out looking like a different dog and his fur was so soft. Curracloe offer a fantastic service and lovely staff. Our dog has an external fixation and as our first time with a groomers we were hesitant about where to take him. We read their story online and are so happy we found Curracloe. The team dealt with his injury brilliantly and we were completely at ease leaving him for the hour. Highly recommended.”

“I contacted Raquel about giving my Persian cat a trim as he had quite bad matting around his tummy and under his legs and wouldn't let me tend to them. Raquel responded within 10 minutes and was very helpful offering me an appointment for the following day (Sunday) which was great. Raquel advised that she is a vet with many years experience which was a great comfort as I love my cat dearly and would only want an absolute professional to deal with the groom as it is so easy to hurt a cat with clippers. Upon arrival Raquel first offered me a lovely cup of tea then she proceeded to clip the nails on the cat followed by a hair cut (Lion cut) and it was clear to see that Raquel was definitely no novice and my cat showed absolutely no signs of distress. After finishing the trim he was then bathed and blow dried. I was amazed at the price Raquel quoted for the service she provided which was less than half of all other quotes I received for the same service.”

At the start Dotty was very nervous and trying to attach herself to Kim, with positive encouragement from Kim, dotty relaxed. I’m so happy with her cut, she looks so cute and smells amazing. I would highly recommended The only way is grooming. Great set up and calming environment within Kim’s garden, the added bonus we was able to stay and watch. Happy dog! Happy owner!”
