BUTTER UP Coffee
● Closed381-383 Norwood Road, London SE27 9BQ, United Kingdom“Got a flat white which was great, coffee was strong and smooth. Also bought a banana and date flapjack which was unfortunately a bit dry and didn’t really have any flavour but it wasn’t bad, coffee gets 5 stars though.”

Pink Salt - Indian Restaurant in Finchley
● Closed“I wish I’d taken more photos because these 2 don’t really do the food justice. The quality and variety is what stood out for me - starters such as Jeera Chicken made with chicken on the bone, cassava root with garlic and chilli and paneer shashlik were my favourites. Great atmosphere and service as well, plus the wonderful Tusker beer, I highly recommend this place!”

Mumbai Maska - Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Chingford, London
● Closed“Delicious authentic Indian food! I have been here atleast 5 times now, and hence I’m here to give a comprehensive review. My personal favourite here is rasmalai cake (I would give 100 stars for just this dish, not joking!) and nihari biryani is great too. All starters were amazing, with “mumbaiya pepper zinga” and “lamb chops” as shows toppers. In-house cocktails “cosmopolitan” and “lychee gulab martini” are awesome!! Not had anything as such anywhere else. All the dishes I tried here had perfectly balanced Indian flavours that’s suits anybody’s taste. Pricing is a bit on the high end, but I would say the food quality and portion size is well worth the price. Ambience here is classy and the vibe suits any mood. It is well located in the heart of chingford mount and easy to acces via public transport or private vehicles. Staff is well mannered and respectful. Service is good and wait times for food are just as they are in any other fancy restaurant. It’s better to reserve a table before you go, as this place can get quite busy, specially during dinner time on weekends. It’s a good place for any occasion, may it be a family gathering or a first date. There is no specific dress code but usually everyone is dressed smart-casual. As an icing on the cake, this place is also a picture-perfect place for your snaps or insta posts. I’ve added some photos I took, you can have a look and decide for yourself. Overall, it’s a great choice to get yourself a satisfying food treat!”

Ascotts Group Ltd ~ Diesel in Dartford
● ClosedUnit 44 - 45 Butterly Avenue, Questor, Dartford DA1 1JG, United Kingdom“Since 1992 I have been as Ascotts customer. From the moment I first walked through their door I was treated well. Today I picked up yet another new cab from them. Nothing has changed. Every single member of staff has the same attitude. “Help this driver” From the top to the bottom, they are all a paragon of efficiency, knowledge and politeness. If I lived next door to M&O, I would still only trust Ascotts with my livelihood.”

I love going in and I can nearly always find what I’m looking for. If not the staff are very helpful and look to track it down and order it in. Very impressed and good to support local!”

Desi Flavours London
● Closed“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”

Elachi SE23
● Closed“Wow. The food served here is excellent. It has a combination of traditional dishes and then some modern twists - and bother were equally spectacular. I was also impressed with the desserts, not easy to get cakes of this quality at a restaurant - a lot of restaurants opt for the run of the mill types, but the cakes here were divine! I cant wait to go back to try more! Full of flavour. Also great service and service with a smile! An all round pleasant experience”

The menu is compressive, both vegan / vegetarians and meat, a great selection of dishes overall. Food seems of good quality, and the interior creates a lovely and clean atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place if you are shopping for your Indian clothes and feeling hungry.”

Mittee Indian Restaurant
● Closed“Amazing time for a birthday dinner, highly recommend! I came to Mittee with 25 friends for a celebratory birthday dinner and from planning to the actual evening, Prachandra and the team at Mittee were great! Prachandra helped me come up with a good set menu for the night, ensuring there would a be a wide range for people to choose from and was very pro-active in making sure I had all I needed and was ready for the evening. On the night itself, they were more than ready for us when we had arrived, having kept a separate section for us and even putting up some happy birthday banners, which was a really lovely touch. The food was phenomenal, with all my friends loving their dishes, and those with dietary requirements (nut allergies, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant etc..) were really well catered for. I had a wonderful time, and the front of house were amazing - with a special shout out to Ash who looked over our party really well. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely venue for any type of dinner, celebration or event. The whole evening went a lot better than I could have hoped for, and I cannot wait to go back soon! Thank you for making my birthday really special!”

Not So Indian
● Closed“The most delicious food I’ve had in a long time and at a very reasonable price for where they’re situated. I needed something to eat whilst staying in my hotel and it was between this place and the M&S Simply Food in the BP across the road. I am so happy I chose this place! I bought the Turkish Kebab Wrap and a bag of pakoras, they were both divine. The pakoras were the size of my fist almost and there were four of them. The wrap came with sumac, bell pepper, red onion, herbs and spices and it was so satiating and satisfying to eat. I also tried a rose flavoured Faluda drink to wash it all down and it was refreshing and smooth. The service was perfect, polite and swift. Truly a little gem of a place and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be paying a visit.”

Yaadein Authentic Indian Restaurant | Epsom
● Closed19 The Broadway Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh, Epsom KT17 2JA, United Kingdom“Had a fantastic evening there. Staff were excellent and the food was lipsmackingly good. Tried the allo chaat, gol guppa and the samosa chaat for starters and loved the samosa chaat the most. The lamb chops were recommended to me by Sunny but I went for the Shank. Such a mistake!!!.... Not because the shank wasn't good but tried some of the lamb chops from my friend and it is to die for. Daal Bukhara was also fantastic. But the Paan ice-cream was mind blowing. Grew up eating both , Paan and ice cream , but never tasted Paan ice-cream. Fantastic”

Smoke & Salt
● Closed“Wanted to visit Smoke & Salt for some time and was not disappointed. 6 course sharing menu was excellent. Sunchokes with chorizo and salsa Verde was a real highlight. As was the Highland Wagyu beef with Wiltshire truffle. A well portioned seasonal menu brilliantly executed, and for the quality very well priced in my opinion.”
-
Babuji (Indian Street Food)
● Closed“Everything we ordered was super delicious. The flavours, the textures and the overall presentation of the food really spoke for itself. We are vegetarians and there were plenty of options (also vegan). Try the paneer tikka Naan. If you go out for Indian food around the area, try Babuji. The service is impeccable. We'll be back!”
-
Tandoor At The Chambers
● Closed“Went there last week for the first time and loved the food so much that I made another trip in the same week! Highly recommend the lamb chops and kale chaat - never tried anything like that before. It’s a cosy restaurant with friendly staff and quirky decor. Conveniently, there’s also parking very close by. I did find it pricey, but the quality and innovation behind the dishes makes up for it. I also like that with some dishes they ask how spicy you’d like it which is different from most Indian places I’ve been to. Will definitely be back again soon!”
-
Saffron Indian Diner
● Closed“Amazing food and service, cheapest restaurant around. Wish the manager will have some self respect and stop acting like a slave to white people. Reminds me of colonisation of India!”
-
Spice of India
● ClosedFront Lane, Upminster RM14 1XJ, United Kingdom“I love love love this place, hands down my favourite Indian and it must be everyone else's too as it's always rammed in there so 100% book a table.if you want to give it a try. The service is brilliant, the staff are friendly, welcoming and effecient, and they remember you between visits which i really like. The food here is amazing and one way another I've ordered all their sides and a lot of their mains, I normally opt for lamb anything and its divine. I've never ordered wine here as they have a good variety of beer on tap and they're always super quick with drinks. We order popodoms to start and the sauces are well presented and generous and I love the hot lemon flannel at the end. Highly recommend this place!!”

Vijay
● Closed“You’re in for a surprise! Not much to look at from the outside but you do walk into a very Kerala household decor - soft lights, woodwork and a very chilled out ambience. The food was brilliant- we ordered the beef and two types of fish curries with Kerala parottas (bread) and some steamed rice. Spiced well - not “burn your mouth off hot”. Staff are lovely - had a nice chat with us and made sure the service was top notch. Value for money but mainly a great meal served up by some great people! P.S. - too hungry to take food pictures :(”
