The Prince of Greenwich Pub
● Closed72 Royal Hill, London SE10 8RF, United Kingdom“Bf told me this is his favourite pub in England. Finally had a chance to visit this place with him and I must say, it's pretty good. Welcoming owner who immediately warm-heartedly greets you with "welcome home" (on the way out of the pub, I notice the sign at the entrance that also reads "welcome home"). Nice atmosphere and great lighting. The eclectic decor is a feast for your eyes. Staff got one of our orders wrong but that's ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. Didn't have to wait long for our actual main to arrive. Hope to visit this place again when they have the live band playing.”

The High Cross Pub, Tottenham
● Closed350 High Road, London N17 9HT, United Kingdom“One of my favourite pubs. Previously I've been for a Sunday roast, which is incredible, but this time it was just for some drinks and a snack. They always have a solid range of beers on tap, but if you're more into wine, they have a great selection of natural wines. Not a huge venue, so be prepared to sit in the beer garden just outside. Either way, it's worth a visit.”

The Rusty Bucket Pub
● Closed“A lot of rare beer and ciders. Local atmosphere. Nice place. Worth to visit.”
-
Park Tavern Pub
● Closed“One of the few remaining “proper pubs” in the area and it’s fantastic - warm welcome from the bar staff, fantastic ales, friendly locals - so glad to have found the Park Tavern!”
-
The Mayflower Pub
● Closed“Excellent food in a cozy, down to earth atmosphere. The Sunday roast was delicious--the sauce was flavorful and potatoes were slightly crispy, as if baked after steamed. The lamb neck with couscous could not have been better--tender and juicy meat falling off the bone. Starters were excellent as well-- delicate scallops with avo and bacon, and spicy squid in cream sauce with a baguette. One of the best meals!”

Imperial Arms Pub & Courtyard Bistro
● Closed“Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”

The Green Man Pub & Courtyard Restaurant
● Open“Shared a table with 10 others for our annual walking group Xmas Lunch I had a pate starter with Roast Beef as a Main course & traditional Xmas pud to finish. The whole meal & experience was excellent, a great vegetable selection with the Main course. The staff get an A* for not fussing “is everything all right” constantly, just after serving. A great experience, Well done Chef for an excellent meal & thank you ladies for your great service!”

The Crossing Pub
● Closed“Not your usual pub, the quality, service and food was amazing. But also the decor and the design looks very good. It was easy to find parking on the streets next to the pub. They had a chocolate pudding that wasn't due to ready until the next day, however the chef managed to get us all a piece, which was amazing.”

Hand in Hand
● Closed“This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.”

The Hope Pub

-
The Hayden Pub & Rooms
● Closed“Such a wonderful vibe as soon as we walked through the door. Antonio and his staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was was clean, tidy with such a comfortable bed. The room had a good sized ensuite and sufficient storage. It was also surprisingly quiet considering you were in a London pub. The unique boutique twist in the room extended from the relaxed atmosphere the main pub and dining area offered. The food for a pub, was outstanding. We felt it was just as good, (certainly cheaper) thanThe Ivy (London), we visited in the evening for a birthday celebration. The question to ask is, "Would we go back there"? Our answer woukd be, "Absolutely".”

Food was great, lovely wine(Viognier) and the service was excellent. The manager there is fantastic, he really looked after us and I must say I cannot praise him enough. That is what service should be like in a world where a lot of businesses have taken their eye off the ball regarding looking after the customer. Thank you again for a lovely evening.”
