“What an experience. By far the best service we’ve had in London restaurant. Service was exceptional and the waiters were knowledgeable. All dishes were cooked to perfection. Cocktails were not the best in my opinion but this is just a personal taste. They were well made but didn’t hit the mark for me. Regardless everything else from the sashimi to deserts were worth the price”

“I've never liked sushi. Tried it a few times from supermarkets, restaurants in West London and a few others. My experience at this place has changed that. Defne the waitress made sure we had an excellent meal, advising us what to have (even the eel), ensuring we both had time to consider our choices, then brought food to our table without delay. She even thought ahead to bring us the necessary utensils to help us share the food we ordered - sharing a burger is messy without a sharp knife cutting it down the middle etc. Such waitressing skills may sound unsurprising, but sadly they are rarely seen to Defne's standard of attitude, ambiance and professionalism. As well as the superior service, the food was really excellent too and has changed what I look for in a sushi restaurant. Well, I probably won't go anywhere else for sushi, I suppose.”

“A lovely gem in Wood Green. The decor is filled with plants, making the place feel cosy and private. This was my second time at Oita, and I enjoyed it better than the first time. The menu offers an interesting choice of food, and I found some dishes that I enjoyed. Aperol Spritz could have been better (tasted flat), but that is the only thing that I could comment on in terms of improvement. Our waiter was lovely and food arrived very quickly.”

“One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been too. What a treat and got to sit right at the back of the restaurant. When arriving the staff were super friendly and very helpful with the menu and drink choices, it was a smooth experience. I ended up staying right till the end as the time flew by. An excellent choice of dishes to choose from, sushi to grill meats and right across the board. Cocktails are so delicious, and a nice effort was made from them. Transport wise, easy to park in and around the area and North Dulwich station is just around the corner. Overall, very lovely and I hope you have the same experience or makes you want to go. “A spur of the moment (last minute!) 30th birthday treat. The sushi was fresh, perfectly portioned and so delicious! We did mention off hand that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and we were treated to a tasty chocolate cake with cream on the house. Would 100% recommend, we've been to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and the sushi is on par with meals we had in Japan!”

“Excellent Japanese restaurant. Very tasty food, great variety of dishes promptly delivered. The portions are all right, not big not small, enought to try different dishes. Can't really choose which was the best but I would highly prawn tempura, crab croquettes, California roll and the sashimies.”

“Food was great, biryani was very tasty and portion size was amazing. Butter chicken was good but could be abit more tasty...they sell halal food however they also sell alcohol so be aware of that if you mind...they also had karaoke the night I went so it was abit loud, but we didn't mind”
