“After we placed an order with uber eats the driver went someplace else, called to deliver and had a massive argument before her left my order on the pavement and carried on with his schedule!!!!! Shortly after I notified the restaurant they were so professional and kind to have my order replaced. Such heartwarming service and the quality of the food cannot be compared to any other Greek food pitta yeeros restaurants in London! I totally recommend this place for the quality of food and service the people provide. If I could give 10 stars I would!”

“First time trying and really enjoyed it. The new space looks really good, really light and has a nice feel about it. Was 3 of us and came to about £55 but we definitely ordered more than needed with coffees. 2 of us shared the mix gyros platter, one had eggs and avocado and share a couple of sides - the sausage in particular was Delish. Really tasty and generous portion - the gyros meat was nice and crispy and moist - as good as we’ve had in Greece. 2 minor things which were a bit negative. Firstly the eggs were a bit cold - suspect due to sitting around while they got the platter and sides sorted. We ordered tzatziki and pitta as sides, we probably should have worked out (and does say on menu), but would have thought the waiter would have mentioned the gyros platter did come with that those as we would have tried perhaps hummus or another side. Overall, great spot, friendly staff, tasty food and felt value for money. Would recommend and return.”

“Best if you are craving homemade indian food. Especially if you are a gujarati. The owner will make you gujarati food like Khaman and Dhokla at an affordable price if you order in advance. You can also get Aloo Paratha, Pav bhaji, pani puri, etc. The food is amazing and the price is really affordable.”

“I have visited B&O twice, once as a group for lunch and once on my own for breakfast, so I feel confident in giving a full and honest review. Service & Staff On both occasions we were given a five star service, the staff are very kind and attentive. Both managers (Simon and Ismet) were very polite, they would even came up to the table to ensure everything was okay or simply to greet. Food They serve both breakfast and lunch, so they have a variety of options on the menu. They have Greek cuisine which the menu is based on, however there is a tweak of English food added especially to the breakfast and kids menu. I do not eat meat so I enjoy the grilled vegetables, poached eggs and halloumi cheese on sourdough bread. However my friends really enjoyed the mixed grill which comes in a very generous portion. Ambiance The ambiance is warm and there is full of light. The kitchen is separated by glass and you can fully see inside. In terms of cleanliness, the place looks spotless, including a toilet which I would say can be compared to a 4-5 star hotel's. There is room at the back for a more private party, for a kids birthday or simply to take your kids out and get some privacy. All in all, a great local place which adds value to the local community.”

“Went in with my family today to try the pie and mash, looked at the menu and saw a mixed grill option. The food was fantastic the steak was brilliant and my family absolutely loved the pie and mash. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone ( the women working there are fantastic too )”

“I went there yesterday with my daughter for a quick bite to eat. The food was really good (I had the tastiest halloumi and mushroom wrap I have ever tasted and the owner friendly but professional. He even gifted my daughter with a lollipop! Prices are great as plates comes with delicious yummy food! Great portions too! This is a nice local cafe' in Addlestone. There is no parking though as it is situated on the high street, but Tesco carpark is right across.”

“No one can do what St. JOHN does as consistently well as JOHN does it. Everything is delicious, no matter what you choose. Make sure to make a reservation! It is priceless to have a place you can come back to in a beloved city that upholds the same high quality time and time again. It was a pleasure to bring my partner for his first time. We promised to come back before we leave for home. The chicken liver with brandied prune was my favorite. Our other small pick Smoked Cod's Roe, Egg and Cress was knockout. For large plates we dabbled with a vegetarian option. I was nervous as I ordered the Roast Squash, Sheep's Curd and Watercress, but “Wow!” This dish was perfect and satisfying. The duck leg was awesome! Less chive with the aioli might have been better, but a bold choice none the less. A note on beverages, the sidecar was amazing and perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to return many more times!”

“Classic English cafe. The food and service are great. You might share a table with strangers. Really strong English breakfasts and they have some Mediterranean options too. Plus prices are excellent for London. There is usually a line at busy times like Sunday mornings you will definitely need to wait but they have a lot of tables so the wait isn't too bad.”

“Fantastic Greek Grocer and Deli. Courteous and friendly service. Great selection of Greek/Greek Cypriot sourced produce. It's about quality and range, not quantity. Not a local, but always worth the journey for me on a Sunday morning to stock up our larder: rarities like Zalatina for Xmas, and top quality staples including Halvas, Kolokasi, Poules, Lountza, Louganiga/Pastirmas, Lahana, Trahanas, and everything else imaginable, including a wide assortment of olive oils. With calming and contemplative Greek Orthodox chanting playing quietly in the background, Demos makes for a very pleasant Sunday morning's shopping indeed, working as an antidote to the mind-numbing soulessness and sterility of the big supermarkets.”

“Had a great experience here this afternoon! Came in with my mum and was greeted straight away by staff, really friendly. Atmosphere was really cosy and warm. Good vibes all around and not at all stressy despite it being a bit busy. I had a flat white along with a veggie burrito and it was delicious, enjoyed every bit of it. Coffee tasted great too! Best lunch I’ve had out in a while.”
