(Mine was already perfect to be fair so I didn't have to change a thing) Great food at very affordable prices and a couple of lovely proprietors who cannot do enough to make your meal as tasty as possible! Heartily recommend the protein salad and BLT bagel, freshly made to order! Should you find yourself in South Woodford craving a tasty bagel from an independent store instead of the big chains I thoroughly recommend you go and see Papa' Bagel.”

“Have been eating here since I was a small child although it was the starburger then I believe and I am sure they used to serve Sunday roast and desert. (edit try still do!) :-) Anyway the food is always good and what you would expect from a cafe. Any mistakes are always swiftly rectifies in the rare event there is one. The kids Love eating here and my daughter has asked if she can have a birthday party here. Would always recommend this fabulous family run cafe.”

“Great place! We've lived on the other side of the street for 2 year and had never been here. Went for lunch, food is high quality and affordable and the staff is very friendly. There's a nice covered terrace/garden at the back with heaters so we could have lunch outside. 5/5 will definitely visit again!”

“I've had the latte here and it was amazing but the mocha is hands down the best mocha I have had since I visited Amsterdam. Paninis are also top notch and prices are reasonable. Would be a good place to get some work done or read a book. Knowledgable, friendly and warm owners.”

“Cute and cosy coffee shop serving Grind coffee and delicious cakes. Breakfast and brunch style dishes include sourdough bread / toast with toppings - scrambled eggs, smashed avocado, goats cheese with walnuts and honey - simple food but tasty. Nice place to hang out during the week if you want to take your lap top and be with other people - but do buy food while you are there. No lap tops at weekend though (and quite right too, have a rest!). They have tables outside. Inside the decor is bare brick walls and wooden floor boards. The owners have decorated the space with vintage bits and pieces.”

“Went over the weekend for brunch. 1st time here even though I don't live too far from it. I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place just ticks all the boxes. Food is tasty and well presented, good choice of hot and cold drinks, and the flat white was probably the best I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. The owner came around to our table asking if everything was Ok, and she was quite friendly. A very good find despite the building it's in being covered with scaffolding”
