"Had one fantastic cut and one terrible one here. First time, the barber listened to my instructions to keep it long on top and just to trim the ends because I'm growing it out. They checked they weren't taking too much off the top and fringe. Ended up being one of the best cuts I've ever had. Second time, using the same instructions, a different barber didn't listen or check I was happy. They hacked off way too much from the top and fringe, giving me no chance to stop them before it was too late. Ended up shorter than before the first time I had it cut, undoing all my progress growing it out. It also looked awful as my hair doesn't lie flat unless it's fairly long. Such a shame this came after an amazing cut the first time."
