“I had a wonderful experience here in August. I went for my birthday and they were very kind and liaised with a friend to bring out a birthday cake he brought from outside. The food is delicious, full of flavour and spices. The injera was really tasty (no sourness) and the had Tej (honey wine)! We did complain about a dish and they were very apologetic offering to replace; we were so full we declined- and they took it off the bill. Great food and even better service! I will be back.”

They are very consistent when it comes to their food, everything is always very fresh!! “My new favourite place to eat! The portions are big, the food is fresh and served piping hot. It's very healthy as well (i went for the beef steak with rice and spinach with a diet coke...only cost £8 in total). The man who runs the place is very welcoming and generous. He saw I had a lot of meat still left on my plate and so asked if I wanted more rice - no extra charge! This place is one of London's undiscovered gems!”

“Amazing authenthic Ethiopian cusine made with love. All meals served with Enjera which is an ancient gluten free flat bread full of vital nutrients. I recommend special kitfo and lega tibs for meat eaters and ya tsom beyaynatu which is a platter of different vegetable dishes. Prices are reasonable. Great service and a warm welcoming enivironment.”

“I have been going to Big Mama for years and her food remain as delicious. If you are into African or Nigerian cuisine then you would definitely love it. She provide catering on a big scale and also bachelor's pack. Her Moin Moin are to die for, not to talk about her pies.”

Doesn't have the most luxe seats, or the fanciest sound systems... but it's comfy, cosy, not overcrowded and does have all the big releases plus a great range of films including things that might not make it to the big chain cinemas, and regular film revivals. They do special showings for families, pensioners, autistic people, and people with dementia. There's a bar upstairs with a nice seating area. Love this place, I go here over going to the big cinema at Westfield any day of the week. Recommended.”

I have never experienced such amazing service before, jollof rice was tasty and spicy and stew chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. 11/10 recommend!”
