Spotlight Dance & Theatre School
● OpenBassil Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4BB, United Kingdom“I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). Their confidence has soared from the encouragement from Rachel and her team and to see them up on stage makes us all proud! Well done Spotlight!”

&Yes Perform: LAMDA, acting, audition preparation
● Open“My Year 4 daughter started Lamda with Enya last term, so far, all the lessons have been virtual. I am impressed by how much my daughter has developed her speaking with confidence and expression in such a short space of time, she really enjoys the lessons. Enya is calm, kind and shows a genuine interest in my daughter, she is also helpful and organised so as a multi-tasking parent this is a huge benefit. I have no hesitation in recommending Enya.”

Razzamataz Theatre Schools Rickmansworth
● ClosedScots Hill, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth WD3 3AQ, United Kingdom“My daughter has been going to Razzamataz Rickmansworth since the summer of 2016. she had her first taste of theatre school during a week of the summer holiday club, which was brilliant! on the back of this we signed her up for the weekly classes and have been going ever since. during this time we have seen her skills and confidence for singing and drama increase massively. the biggest hit with her has to be dance though....she loves the dancing! All the teachers are so good with the children and they truly get the best from them. and they all LOVE their principle Amy, who is just the best at running this school and giving even the most nervous child the confidence to blossom. She inspires her pupils to achieve so much more. As I write this, we are in the midst of the coronavirus lockdown and I'm so impressed with how the school has managed to think outside the box and organise weekly online zoom lessons for the children. it really is the highlight to my daughters week. thank you Razz for being so fabulous.”

Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools Head Office
● Closed“When my 9 year old started nursery at 18 months she had really bad attachment issues. The nursery suggested at that as soon as she was old enough I needed to put her into a drama/theatre school, to boost her confidence. When she turned 3 we put her into Jigsaw. We picked Jigsaw as the nursery said, this was a good choice and Jigsaw was cheaper than their key competitor, but I was told they were better, especially with regards to pastoral care. For me the primary advantage was I got 60 minutes to whizz round doing chores, with no-one hanging on to skirt, secondary to that was she spent an hour singing, dancing and acting which she loved. She has now been doing this for 6 years, she is queen of karaoke, reads at church, is confident both off and on the stage, and now I get 3 hours on a Saturday to work. For me it is win-win all round. My daughter asked us some time ago if she could go to boarding school once she turned 11. As difficult as this was, we agreed that we would do whatever was best for her. Just the other day she came to us and said, “if I go to a boarding school I will miss Jigsaw, can I stay at home”.. I took a deep breath and said, we will stand by you and do whatever is best for you darling. With eyes up cast, I said, thank you Jigsaw. You have done so much for us over the years, roll on Jigsaw till my little one turns 17.”

Razzamataz Theatre School Barnet
● Open“RazzTots is an amazing class for 2 years plus. My little one enjoys learning the dance each week, and singing along to the song that they learn based around a theme. Each week they build bit- by-bit onto the same routine, helping their co-ordination, confidence and memory skills. On top of this, it is totally fun! I thoroughly recommend this! Us parents love it too!”

Razzamataz Theatre Schools Belsize and Queens Park
● Open“We have always thought of Razzamataz (Queen’s Park) as our hidden gem; a place where acceptance and encouragement are not just words on a website. Victoria and her talented team of staff take the time to get to know every child individually and to consider their strengths thereby allowing them to “shine”. The children are encouraged and coached in the areas that they might consider “tricky” and work with them to help overcome any fears and / or concerns. It has been the absolute highlight for us over the past 2 years, and in particular during the lockdown period as it has been our saviour. I wasn’t sure how how the classes would translate to online, but I have been pleasantly surprised how well it has been delivered. It has been totally engaging and fun for the children. We are all looking forward to getting back to our normal Saturday group but for me the hardest part will be controlling the urge to hug everyone when it does finally happen. Take the chance and book a free taster with Victoria and her team as I can guarantee your child / children will love it and want to go back for more.”

Spotlights Theatre School West Wickham
● Open117B Hawes Lane, West Wickham BR4 9AA, United Kingdom“Wow, what a fantastic night. From weeks of rehearsals and gitters on the weekend of the big extravaganza that was the Spotlights production of 'The Wizard of Oz" I have to say what an amazing drama group Spotlights has been for my daughter. The show was fantastic. I also should say that she was more nervous about performing in the show that she was about doing her SATS! As someone who needed a little boost in the confidence department Spotlights has been transformational for my daughter. She loves every aspect of it with Drama and dance being her favorites and singing 'not so much' (even though I think she's got a great voice) but when it came to auditioning for her school play she wasn't scared to stand in front of the whole class and the year six teachers and do her thing. She knows how to project her voice so she is clear and can be heard at the back of the school hall without being scared and without mumbling - something you really notice with the other kids at school. That has such a knock on effect in real life. She's not afraid to put herself forward for things and speaks up more now. When she comes out of Spotlight sessions on a Saturday afternoon she is literally beaming. When I suggested she stops Spotlights when she moves to secondary school I just got 'the look'. That's not going to happen. She has more drive to become a better actor, dancer and singer to get bigger and better parts in the end of year show. Learning lines is becoming second nature and that has really helped her in school. The last word in this review really has to go to Faye and her team. My daughter really loves going to Spotlights and that is more down to the atmosphere during her time there than what she is actually doing. The praise and encouragement she gets each week from the teachers makes such a difference. You make a difference - more than you know. Thank you for all you do.”

Was a real escape from the working day and childcare, got to sing with some great people with great songs and harmonies. We even performed at the pub for Christmas. Thanks Emma for all your hard work to make it happen, for us adults but also everything you're doing for kids. Can't wait to start singing again :-)”
