Welcome to St. John's Lutheran Church, a warm and welcoming place of worship located at 5977 Lower Tug Fork Road, Melbourne, Kentucky. Since 1861, our congregation has been a beacon of faith and community, celebrating God’s presence in every aspect of our lives. Whether through joyous occasions or times of sorrow, healing, or caring for others, we come together to share the Good News of God’s love for each person through Christ Jesus. This year, we are excited to participate in God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday by supporting the staff at The Seasons at Alexandria, a facility that provides skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehab, memory care, and personal care. We invite you to join us in collecting individual grab-and-go snacks, which are greatly appreciated by the staff. Please bring your donations to the church on Sunday, September 8, 2024. After worship, we will come together to sort and combine these items, making our day of service a meaningful contribution to our local community.
