Taylor Mill Fire Department
Welcome to the Taylor Mill Fire Department, located at 5231 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Our dedicated team of full-time, part-time, and volunteer firefighters, firefighter medics, and EMTs proudly serve the community, responding to an average of 1,000 to 1,200 calls annually. With a commitment to protecting lives and property, we handle a wide range of emergencies, with 65% of our runs related to Rescue or EMS and 8% involving structural fires. Under the leadership of Fire Chief General Fernbach, who was promoted on December 1, 2023, our department continues to strive for excellence in service and education. Chief Fernbach brings a wealth of experience and a strong educational background, including a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and ongoing studies for a Master's in Public Administration at Eastern Kentucky University.
