Matthew J. Weresh, MD is a renowned orthopedic surgeon located at 1501 East 10th Street in Atlantic, Iowa. Dr. Weresh specializes in hip and knee procedures, including complex joint replacements and simple joint surgeries. With over 25 years of experience in central Iowa, he relocated his practice to Cass Health in 2018. Dr. Weresh is the first orthopedic surgeon in central Iowa with specialty training in trauma and fracture care, which are his primary interests. He has been published in numerous articles and presentations on the national level in the fields of hip, knee, and general trauma/fracture care. Dr. Weresh is dedicated to working with patients of all ages, including adolescents. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Akron General Medical Center.
