Starr's Cave Nature Center
Starr's Cave Nature Center is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 11627 Starr's Cave Park Road in Burlington, Iowa, United States. The main admin office has moved to this location, open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please call ahead for an appointment as office staff are often out in the field. The center offers a variety of activities, including the upcoming Spring Hike A Park series in partnership with other conservation centers. The next hike will take place at Leopold Recreation Area on April 11th and at Lindsay Wilderness in Van Buren County on April 18th. Additionally, there will be a Wildflower Walk at Starr's Cave on April 20th, where visitors can enjoy the beauty of spring ephemerals such as Hepatica, Spring Beauty, and Bloodroot. Trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset, accessible from the front parking lot if the main gate is locked. There is no fee to visit the Marsh.
