As a testament to Centier Bank's rich 126-year legacy, the museum offers visitors an inspiring journey through the history of Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank. Established in 2021, the Centier Museum invites you to explore the fascinating story of the bank's founder, Henry Schrage, from his immigration to Whiting in the mid-1800s to the present day, where the fifth generation of the Schrage family continues to uphold the legacy of hometown banking. Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the museum provides an intimate glimpse into the Centier Bank family history.
