Wolf Lake Aquatic Play Center is a family-friendly institution located at 2100 Calumet Avenue in Hammond, Indiana, United States. Our state-of-the-art aquatic facility offers a fun and safe environment for children ages 12 and under to enjoy. The center features a splash pad, changing rooms, a concession stand offering Gatorade, water, and chips, as well as a playground for kids to explore. Please note that visitors are required to bring their own chairs as they will not be provided at the center. Additionally, children ages 12 and under must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. Just 20 minutes from Chicago’s Loop, The PAV offers a unique experience nestled on the scenic shore of Wolf Lake. Owned and operated by the Hammond Port Authority, this remarkable venue was inspired by the 1895 Frank Lloyd Wright amusement resort concept for Wolf Lake, featuring a stunning tower design. The PAV boasts a 2,600 square foot main stage and 86,000 square feet of concrete and grass seating, making it the perfect spot for a variety of events, including annual favorites like the Festival of the Lakes, the WHAM! Bike Ride, and the 4th of July Naturalization Ceremony. This year, we're thrilled to host an exciting lineup of performances, including Rick Michels’ and his 24-piece big band for "Sinatra Forever: A Salute to Frank Sinatra" on September 14, 2024.
