Brown County State Park Buffalo Ridge Campground
Brown County State Park Buffalo Ridge Campground is located in Nashville, Indiana, United States. Nicknamed the “Little Smokies” due to its resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, the park spans nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges, and fog-shrouded ravines. Glaciers from past ice ages shaped the narrow ridges, steep slopes, and deep gullies found in the park. Indiana’s largest park is known for its beautiful fall colors, with 20 miles of tree-lined roads and scenic vistas overlooking miles of forestland. The park offers a rustic Abe Martin Lodge with accommodations such as motel rooms, cabins, dining facilities, and an indoor water park. There are also large campgrounds, hiking and mountain biking trails, interpretive services, a saddle barn for guided horse rides, and a separate horseman campground with 70 miles of horse trails. Visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, arts and crafts, history, entertainment, and outdoor adventures in the surrounding county and nearby town of Nashville.
