Originally meeting as a mission in a local fire station in 1953, we have grown and evolved, obtaining our charter as a Baptist Church in 1956. At First Baptist Church, we hold steadfast to the belief that the Holy Scriptures, as preserved in the English Authorized King James Version, are the inspired words of God. Our teachings emphasize the divine nature of Jesus Christ, who became man without ceasing to be God, and the eternal gift of salvation through personal faith in Him.
