His background as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Army, where he served as a major, has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a profound understanding of orthopedic conditions. This experience allows him to expertly treat a wide range of issues, from sports injuries to chronic pain, helping patients regain their ability to perform, compete, and work.
Dr. Guzzo's educational journey began at Washington & Jefferson College, followed by medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He further honed his expertise during his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. His military service continued at Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, Georgia, where he gained invaluable experience in treating complex cases.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Guzzo cherishes spending time with his children and enjoys hobbies such as exercise, electronics, and technology. His commitment to staying active and engaged reflects his passion for helping others achieve their physical best.
