American Legion Park, located at 501 Winchester Street in Decatur, Indiana, is a popular tourist attraction and park. Registration for various activities, such as swimming lessons, lap swimming, and aquatics exercise programs, can be done online or in person at the Riverside Center. The park offers a preschool level 2 swimming class to help children gain confidence and independence in the water. Parents can also enjoy lap swimming while their children learn to swim. The park operates under the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation Department, whose mission is to enhance leisure lifestyles and quality of life for all citizens.
