"I just drove 30 miles each way for an appointment that I had at 1:30 only to be told the doctor was off sick... All the doctors were off sick. I went way out of my way because she was the only doctor with an open appointment for over a 50 mile radius for the next several weeks. The receptionist looked at the computer and said that somebody had called me yesterday to cancel at around 1 something. I looked on my phone and realized that was totally not true because I hadn't even made the appointment till after 3 p.m. yesterday for today at 1:30. I understand people get sick. The receptionist said that Melissa had called off yesterday and I said then why would she leave the appointment book open for me to make an appointment for today? The receptionist said well she wasn't sure if she was going to make it or not today. Since, my appointment wasn't until 1:30 today I don't understand why she couldn't have given me a call or had the receptionist do it. I guess my time is just worthless. I needed prescription goggles for work and the voucher is only honored at My Eye Dr. branches. I just totally wasted my last day off for a very long time. I was also going to get regular glasses while I was there. What a waste! Melissa, I really do hope you feel better but this really was inexcusable."
"Melissa was very thorough and friendly through my visit. This was my first time getting an eye exam. She explained the entire process with me. I never felt rushed and she took her time to address all of my questions. She went out of her way to get me the care and attention I needed. Thanks for making my first experience at an eye doctor a great one!"
