"The atmosphere was great. The dough balls were delicious and the pizza was good. I prefer thick crust pizza. We were with a large group so we had a set menu so I didn't get to try some of things that looked great on the menu. They have Vegan options which I appreciate. Service was fast and friendly."

"Awesome eatery in South Bend. Service was great, food excellent and overall vibe was great. Would highly recommend. We started with the Brussel sprout app. This was sooo good. The bacon and balsamic really topped it off. We had a chicken salad, prime melt and chicken sammy. Everyone loved there individual plates and the fries were crispy. Like literally. We ended on the servers recommendation of the brown sugar apple dessert. Yikes. Just reading about it gave me shivers. It was delicious. We all shared btw."

However, there was a confusing moment when we spotted 'the hangover,' a dish listed as vegetarian yet seemingly included bacon. This was a curiosity I regrettably didn't get a chance to clarify during our visit. It was Joseph, our server, who truly elevated our dining experience with his excellent hospitality and attentive service. He navigated us through the digital menu with ease and was quick to offer insights into the restaurant's diverse offerings. His professional and warm demeanor ensured that we felt taken care of throughout our meal. I opted for the "Lauber Favorite," the chicken and biscuits, and it didn't disappoint. The dish struck a perfect balance between hearty and flavorful, with a spicy sausage gravy that tantalized the taste buds, crispy chicken, and airy biscuits that seemed to melt in the mouth. We also shared a Mini Cinnamon Roll bite skillet, a delightful sweet interlude that provided a delightful contrast to the savory depth of the main dish. My companion's choice, the harvest bowl, was a verdant feast, generously portioned and topped with a beautifully blackened salmon that was nothing short of expertly prepared. The meal was accompanied by a couple of festive martini selections—the Pumpkin Spice Espresso martini and a Snickerdoodle martini. Both were a hit on the flavor front, though the caramel garnish of the latter was a tad overenthusiastic, resulting in a sweet, sticky tableau on our table. In terms of value, the experience was exceptional. For a delightful foray into brunch that offers ample servings, creative dishes, and spirited drinks, The Lauber is a standout recommendation. Despite the small digital menu hiccup and the runaway caramel, our brunch was a pleasurable adventure that I'd eagerly recommend to fellow brunch enthusiasts."

"Absolutely loved the atmosphere, vibe, and food here. I got the Mac with Pulled Pork added and Caramelized Onion Topping. 10/10! We sat in the "outside" area where it was covered with a clear, heavy tarp to see the outside and still be very warm inside. All the warm lights and drinks were absolutely filling. Each bite of my Mac was so full of flavor! Will definitely come back "

"This food was AMAZING. In addition to this, with our big party of 20 people, the food came out so fast. The service was great and I have only good things to say about this!! I got the Rigatoni Chicken and a side of the Bacon Brussel Sprouts. Also, they gave a lot of food, so worth the price! Will be returning!!"
