"I work downtown so I frequent inkwell somewhat regularly. It's a bit pricey but is usually worth the cost. The food is fantastic. Unfortunately, the service has lately left a bit to be desired. I recently had to wait longer than usual when there was no line while two employees chatted for awhile. I had to repeat my single latte order several times and it unfortunately still came out incorrectly. The barista seemed upset with me when I asked for my drink to be made to go (which is how I ordered it, and had to repeat it twice). I know I'll be back because again, great location, fantastic food, cozy atmosphere, but I wish the service were more closely matched to the price."
"I’ve explored many coffee houses in the area and this is one of my, and boyfriends, favorites places for coffee, quality food and a pretty good atmosphere. Reasonably priced. They have a home made pop tart of the week with a delicious flakey crust! “The Weekly”sandwich was really good. If you’re there to do some work or study, there are a fair amount of tables."
"Yes yes yes. Will always offer The Inkwell Bakery to anyone looking for a nice, quaint coffee/breakfast cafe. Handmade pastries, great breakfast sandwich options, long list of coffee bar options and a homey experience. We got the broken yolk breakfast sandwich which was delicious and their coffee was flavorful and perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful."
"The coffee and baked goods at inkwell are good if a little pricey. I've had the avocado toast and the daily, the avocado toast with an egg is a good value and tasty meal. The daily is a great little egg and cheese sandwich on a pretzel bun, which is reasonably priced for it's size, $4. My last time going in I had the waffle which was extremely disappointing. Paying $7.25 for a cold eggo waffle, which only comes with maple syrup and butter, is a very disappointing way to start the day. The staff have been friendly in my experience."
