Lamasco Bar
β OpenLamasco Bar, located at 1331 West Franklin Street in Evansville, Indiana, is a historic institution with a rich past. Founded in 1836, the city of Lamasco was eventually merged with Evansville in 1857, but its spirit lives on at this popular bar and restaurant. The building where Lamasco Bar now stands was originally a sheet metal factory in 1913, but quickly transformed into a hub for local gamblers and revelers during the Prohibition era. Since officially opening its doors on July 10, 1934, Lamasco Bar has become a beloved staple in the community.
