YWCA Patterson and McDaniel Family Center
The YWCA Patterson and McDaniel Family Center, located at 2055 East Army Trail Road in Addison, Illinois, is a vital institution dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Sarah's Circle
Sarah's Circle is a non-profit institution located at 4838 North Sheridan Road in Chicago, Illinois. They offer a wide range of services for women experiencing homelessness, including housing, life necessities, and supportive services to help them permanently end their homelessness. The institution operates a drop-in Daytime Support Center, a 50-bed Interim Housing program, a Rapid Rehousing program, and a growing number of Permanent Supportive Housing units. Each year, Sarah's Circle serves nearly 700 women in need. Recently, Sarah's Circle celebrated the start of construction on their third building, Sarah's on Lakeside. The institution is proud to be recognized by MacKenzie Scott's Yield Giving as one of the awardees working with people and places experiencing the greatest need in the United States. Sarah's Circle received $2 million in funding to continue their important work.
